> 3 dayI have the Xfinity 5GHz modem/router. Typically if it is a 2.4GHz required connection I cant get it going. I had trouble getting this plug connected but I also have other BN-Link plugs that I am using (purchased back when I had my Netgear 2.4/5 GHz router) and they work just fine so I naturally thought these would work as well. Okay, I tried and tried to get a connection and finally initiated a return. I thought I would give it one more try and for some odd reason it connected. I dont get it. Bottom line: These do work on the Xfinity 5GHz Modem/Router. Please dont ask me how I got it connected, because I couldnt tell ya. I am happy with the BN-Link plugs however.

> 3 dayNow that Ive got them set up, these switches do exactly what I want. I have 3 devices I want switched on or off at the wall, and I always want to turn them all on or off at once. Both the BN-Link app and Alexa let me do exactly that, turn them all on or off from my phone with a single tap. I had a few minor issues connecting them initially. I couldnt detect any of them with Bluetooth, so I had to select them manually. The BN-Link app thought I had to switch my phone from my 5 Ghz network to my 2.4 Ghz network, but that wasnt actually necessary. Both are internally part of the same network, so it didnt matter that the switches were connecting via 2.4 Ghz. Alexa integration was super easy, but I ended up using the BN-Link app anyway. Id use Alexa if I wanted to use voice control, but I really wanted control from my phone, and the BN-Link app is friendlier for that. One of my 4 switches was defective, and wouldnt turn on. After some back and forth, BN-Link replaced it for free. No need to return all 4 just because one was bad. It took about a week to get a replacement, and the replacement works fine.

> 3 dayI use a combination of BN, Wyze and Hue. For the price the BN stuff is great. The programming is a little bit more fussy (similar to IFTTT programming) and the timer isnt *quite* as precise, but they always work and they work well. The Hue and Wyze plugs are always in sync down to the second. The BN products always seem to be about 22-30 seconds behind - not a huge deal. But if you want everything to be perfectly in sync you might want to keep all the brands the same in your chain.

> 3 dayThe instructions make it seem like it will take forever to set them up and connect to Alexa, but it really wasnt hard at all. Once connected to Alexa they work great! The instructions are my only complaint

> 3 dayI am getting this for my short term rental home and the houses I’m selling I can turn it on at a random time, that way squatters doesn’t think the house is vacant.

> 3 dayI purchased a four-pack of the smart plugs and set them up using the posted instructions. These integrated with my Alexa very simply and are very convenient to use. However, one of the four plugs would not link properly. I contacted customer service they responded very quickly (several e-mails in the same day). The service tech Steven walked me through the setup. Once it was determined that the unit was defective, they sent out a new unit right away (I had it in two days). Good customer is so very rare these days. It is nice to see it still exists at BN-Link Support!

> 3 dayThese are my favorite smart plugs now. They are easy to set up with the SmartLife app and work great with my Google Home setup. I like that the physical on/off switch is large and easy to access, and indicates the on/off status with its LED color. Overall: works well, is functionally well designed, and great value for money.
