Technique for a ball hone is easily found online but it would have been reassuring to have the instructions directly from manufacturer. It worked as I expected and should last a long time.

I was worried about the size as the 3.78 inch bore of the 5.3 is on the edge of the range listed for this product. It did a great job and I was very happy with the results. I used motor oil as lubricant and did about 10 in out passes. Make sure to go slow on rpm and fast on the in out to try to get the 45 degree cross hatch.

Great for cleaning up cyl. Got another for smaller moter. I will get more as a good price keeps me coming back.

Did a good job on a Kawasaki lawn mower engine that had issues from water in the cylinder. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.

This hone did a nice job on a pair of Harley Twincam cylinders. New rings seated in nicely and had a good seal.
