Best prime lens for the Rebel! Great for stills or video! Pictures are very sharp.

I love the separation it gives between the foreground and the background, the downside is automatic focus sucks and it is very noisey and it is stm. I find manual focus to work better but that is not helpful when the subject you want to capture is moving

Awesome lense super fast and sharp small and light very handy to use and swap if needed. I may buy another one just to have as a backup.

Im not going to lie... I originally bought this lens because of peer pressure. I originally thought this lens was over hyped and not actually needed... but now this is quickly becoming one of my favorite lenses. This attached to that Viltrox speed booster makes me forget Im currently shooting with a Canon M50. The subject is razor sharp and the background bokeh is insane. Ive been using it for videos and street photography. Now Im here to help pressure you into getting one for yourself.
