Commute Messenger Bag

> 3 dayI was looking for a nice bag that I can use to take my 15-inch laptop and several books with me. Timbuk2 Commute attracts me. The structure of the bag is pretty reasonable. The quality and design worth the price.

> 3 dayI bought this bag for a Macbook Pro as I had outgrown my Trager. The laptop fits perfectly into its own sleeve. I havent used it yet to get through the airport. There are plenty of compartments and lots of room for papers and files. The only negative is that the pad on the shoulder strap is too slick to keep it in place on my overcoat. I use this for business and I dont like slinging the stap over my head like messengers do. The handle is ok, but could have been larger with more padding. There is a another pad that is grippier and I will order it soon.

> 3 dayIt has lots of pockets, compartments, more than I care for. Size could be a little bigger. More like a computer bag than a messenger bag.

> 3 dayThe large bag will fit a Lenovo ThinkPad P51, however a medium will not (at least not in the designated laptop pocket). On both the construction is high quality with reinforced stitching to anchor the velcro straps. Even with a laptop, accessories, books, and more, it wouldnt be an easy task to pack the large bag to capacity and still have your shoulder remain in its socket.

04-06-2025I purchased this for my college freshman to carry his laptop and other necessities to and fro on campus. He rarely sends spontaneously compliments, but he joyously thanked me (by text, of course) for this very handy bag. Its quite durable and versatile. What more can I say?
