Does NOT fit a 17 Thinkpad (See pics) - at least not if you try to put it in the padded compartment. It will fit in the large compartment, but this is not how the case is designed to be used. The padded compartment gets narrower towards the bottom and is nowhere near 17.

High quality, tons of pockets, and TSA compliant.

I use this bad daily. Holds up to all I put it through. Keeps items dry in the rain. Easy to keep clean. Makes airport security a lot easier.

I love this bag. Ive been carrying it for a few months now and I literally think to myself every day: I really enjoy this bag. I carried a similar model made by Eddie Bauer for about nine years. This quality of this bag is probably 4x better. The compartments are all adequately placed and sized, it feels nice in your hand and pretty good on your shoulder (though its easier to wear across your chest than simply on one shoulder -- the strap really seems more designed for a messenger bag carry than a briefcase carry).

This is a great briefcase / laptop bag. Material is very sturdy and I really like the waterproof material on top. The strap is very comfortable even with the bag pretty loaded. The laptop sleeve is nicely lined and the zip-out feature comes really handy at airport security. I use it on a daily basis to carry my laptop and papers. The bag also worked really well for a couple of overnight trips. The main compartment can expand to fit quite a bit of stuff even with the laptop in its sleeve. I highly recommend it.

Worst Timbuk2 bag I ever owned. Badly thought out organization. No outside pockets. One small zippered pocket inside and one useless thin fabric divider. Its basically a big sack with a laptop section on the back. As a day to day bag, dont bother.

Holds computer, files, 1 book, Bose headphones and iPad without issues. It rains a lot in Seattle and it protects my stuff well.

The bag works great. Its just too light in terms of color. After about a month it looked terrible and could not wash it. THe color combo is just not it for bike commuting (my main mode of transport).

It was larger than expected. Listen to those people saying the small could hold their laptop it probably can. The medium was gigantic: fits my 15.6 laptop, sweater and 1.5 litre water bottle in the main compartment alone.Okay material. Nice bag but was too big for me. Unfortunately I shipped it out of country to receive it so now Imm screwed. Get the small unless its for like a carry-on bag or something. The bigger (medium) one is not friendly for everyday travel.
