Commute Messenger Bag

Worst Timbuk2 bag I ever owned. Badly thought out organization.No outside pockets. One small zippered pocket inside and one useless thin fabric divider. Its basically a big sack with a laptop section on the back. As a day to day bag, dont bother.

Great bag

Always a great bag, extremely well made. This is my 2nd Timbuk 2 bag. Love it.

There is a large strap of female velcro on the flap that does not seem to have any corresponding strip of male velcro to secure it. The buckles are the only effective means of retaining the flap. It seems that this would be insufficient for preventing rain from infiltrating the main compartment. The external water bottle pouch is not large enough to carry a Nalgene. This product will still be adequate for my daily use, but just barely.

I got the bag in a medium and the quality is first rate. Some of the design features just dont make sense however. The main flap has the soft part of a Velcro strip but there is no corresponding Velcro for it to attach to. There a few narrow and deep pockets that I can barely get my hand into. There is a Velcro strap under the main flap that seems to have no purpose at all. There is a thin strap on the front that serves no purpose. The bottle holders on the sides arent deep enough. I could go one. Nonetheless, I give it four stars because of the quality, the main compartment is just the right size and there are several very useful pockets. Im just saying that a few simple changes could make this bag much better.

So many messenger bags seem to be thrown together without any planning. This bag clearly has been carefully designed with commuters needs in mind. It has an external bottle pocket! It has a napoleon pocket, where I keep my phone and keys so I dont have to unbuckle/unvelcro the bag every time I need something! It has convenient inner pockets where I can tuck my umbrella and my headphones! It has a super convenient and secure laptop pocket that I can get to without opening the main bag! It is waterproof!

Great perfect size very light and sturdy straps

Had this bag for a few weeks and love it, had a Victorinox messenger bag before, and you can really tell the difference in care and detail they place with the bag.

It does everything I need it to and then some.
