Commute Messenger Bag

This bag is perfect for my needs. Its sturdy, lightweight and has room for all my gear. You cant beat it for the price !

Excellent quality. Plenty of organization pockets. The TSA feature is a beautiful thing even if you dont travel, because having the lay-flat opening allows you easier access when moving between workplaces. Saved $30 through Amazon. My only disappointment is that the shoulder strap isnt as good as the strap TimBuk2 sells on their Command model.

It does everything I need it to and then some.

I love this bag. I have a Snoop insert for it for hauling a camera around, and also use it as a daily going to work bag. Its a great size to hold a camera, a book, lunch, and all the other nonsense that lives in my daily bag. It also holds my iPad securely. My 15 Macbook struggles to fit in the back pouch with a sleeve on, but fits fine without the sleeve. I usually keep it sleeved and just put it inside the bag. The soft fleece lined pouches are great for iPhone / iPod. The interior pockets and pouches keep the bag well organized. I use this bag everyday and I love it! Its just strong and durable. I even spilled coffee on it once, and it just balled up and rolled off. Great bag by a great company!

this thing is fantastic. I recently started commuting via bus and bought this bag to take my laptop to and from work along with my lunch, a raincoat, and a couple of other assorted small items. I have never run out of space, the bag looks just as good as it did the day I took it out of the box, it is comfortable to wear, and it is subdued enough to appropriately fit in to any work environment.

I love this bag, the only item I would adjust would be that the main satchel doesnt stay open by itself. It collapses in on itself when not full. I purchased the large bag which I may have only truly needed the medium, but this bag has been very practical and useful when commuting.

Have you using the Timbuk2 Commute 2.0 Messager Bag for about one month. It takes a little while to get everything adjusted to personal preferences but once you do it is really easy to put over your shoulder and adjust even with glasses on. Having the strap shorter, allows you to just hand the bag from one shoulder without hanging on to it.
