Greater than one weekLooks like they took the best of the regular messenger bag and added it to the last version of the commute bag and got it spot on. The strap is well padded, it has a good handle, and has all the pockets you need. It has good balance with or without a laptop in it when you put it on the floor. Is lightweight and comfortable over the shoulder or over your body.

> 3 dayDoesnt hold up. I bought one of these to replace a BBP messenger bag that lasted six years and still looked new when finally a zipper broke. Within 4 months of purchasing the Timbuk2, the flat side that swings against your body was shredded and worn. Timbuk2 refused to help, calling it cosmetic damage not covered by warranty. Terrible durability, terrible customer service. Never again. My mission in life now is to tell people to steer clear of this company.

Greater than one weekI do like the construction of the bag and this is really best suited for air travelers with the TSA lay flat laptop compartment. For a large bag for my needs of stuff this is fine. For laptop carry, not so fine. I have a thinkpad 15.2 that does not fit with the battery attached. I had to remove the battery. I have a 15 MBP which does fit but does not have good protection for top side of the MBP.

> 3 dayJust as described, medium is the perfect size, enough space for computer and anything else needed for the day.

Greater than one weekFits my 17 laptop, among other presentation materials nicely. The bag is big enough to put my food samples in it, as well as clothes for a weekend trip. Perfect. I love it.
