> 3 dayDoes NOT fit a 17 Thinkpad (See pics) - at least not if you try to put it in the padded compartment. It will fit in the large compartment, but this is not how the case is designed to be used. The padded compartment gets narrower towards the bottom and is nowhere near 17.

> 3 dayMy Bag of Holding from the folks at Think|Geek is still a favorite of mine, if only for the name prominently displayed on its flap, but this bag is far superior in build quality and sturdiness of materials. From zippers to lining the bag satisfies my needs almost perfectly. If I were to change anything to suit my own unique needs it would be to add a single additional separating flap to create dual compartments in the main bag area instead of just one. Ive used the bag doing home health evaluation visits and it holds my examination equipment and paperwork, as well as the iPad and keyboard I use to record data very handily. I havent had any air travel with it, so havent tested the fold-out TSA-friendly feature for the laptop/tablet compartment, but Im sure Ill appreciate it when I do. Recommended.

> 3 dayMy husband likes the bag and compartments. Not to crazy about the hook fasteners b/c you cant open the bag so quickly. He likes the style of this and other bags he saw on Timbuk website. The hidden side pocket on the flap does not open very smoothly. When he used the bag for the 1st time, I put his phone charger in the side pocket. He had asked me if I packed his charger in the bag. He went crazy looking through the bag 3 times because he didnt notice that side pocket. If you like well hidden pocket then its perfect for u. He prefer the pocket to be on top of the flap.

Greater than one weekPerfect size to hold laptop and accessories. Exterior material is effective for protecting belongings during rainy days. The bag looks great for use in the office for business casual environments .

> 3 dayIm not ashamed to admit it. Im a man, and I wish I had a purse. Im sure my wife and family would never stop making fun of me... so I had to compromise with this amazing messenger bag. It fits everything I need to take back and forth to work with me and any essential medication and chargers I like to keep with me. Its basically a large purse a man can carry.

Greater than one weekUnfortunately, the large model of this bad was not large enough for my laptop. The dimensions listed in the product description state that the laptop pocket is 18 wide x 11.4 deep. My laptop is 16.5 x 11, so I was disappointed to find that I could not close the bag with the laptop inside. I love Timbuk2 and this would have been an excellent computer bag. I would certainly recommend the bag to anyone, but you should allow at least an extra inch per side. If the pocket was 18x12, Im sure the laptop would have fit.
