Commute Messenger Bag

Not enough pockets on the inside and didnt realize there was velcro on the outside which helps with the flap but then you have pull it every time you want to open it. Laptop weight is distributed on the outside for TSA which is nice for the airport but not for carrying after that. Disappointing bag but got it at a good price so will live with it for now.

I love this bag-- great looks, excellent construction and fabric and the ideal type and quantity of compartments for the variety of gear needed during an international business trip. I lugged this bag for two weeks in China and it was exactly what I needed. Im now carrying it to work as my every day bag.

Great bag! Storage is incredible and the design, while modest, is great. I am able to treat this as a day bag, bringing my laptop, iPad and a change of clothes for the gym and have room to spare. Ive also used it as a weekend bag and its storage was great. Buy this bag, youll be happy you did

This bag is alright, but not great. First of all, only one zip pocket inside and another useless zip pocket in the front which they said is for your mobile phone, but come on, its not big enough to hold todays modern smart phone. Just wish they have more useful zip pocket, so you can put your important stuff in there without the fear of it dropping out. Other than that, I thought it is quite good.

Excellent quality. Plenty of organization pockets. The TSA feature is a beautiful thing even if you dont travel, because having the lay-flat opening allows you easier access when moving between workplaces. Saved $30 through Amazon. My only disappointment is that the shoulder strap isnt as good as the strap TimBuk2 sells on their Command model.

Shocked to find a pen and a piece of paper which looks like a doctors research notes with patient health data points including names inside a pocket....it was a typed document with handwritten notes ...suspecting I got a used bag aka perhaps the product I bought was a returned and refurnished product. So disappointed in Timbuk2 after I bought this bag based on a recommendation from a California friend who raved about it. Not to mentioned paid for something at new not on gently used prices directly from Timbuk2 not a reseller.

Doesnt hold up. I bought one of these to replace a BBP messenger bag that lasted six years and still looked new when finally a zipper broke. Within 4 months of purchasing the Timbuk2, the flat side that swings against your body was shredded and worn. Timbuk2 refused to help, calling it cosmetic damage not covered by warranty. Terrible durability, terrible customer service. Never again. My mission in life now is to tell people to steer clear of this company.

Got the medium at a good price.

What a great bag. I’m a police officer and spend 9 hours a day in my cruiser. This bag works perfectly. I carry everything I need for the day in the medium bag and still have room to spare. Very well constructed and I bet it will last a very long time. Buy the bag! You will like it!
