> 3 dayThe drive works great and is super fast. Im very happy with the drive itself. Im subtracting a star though because Crucials version of the Acronis True Image software was useless for cloning my existing hard drive to the new drive.

> 3 dayI am returning mine because there support is horrible. I’ve been speaking to the same person for over an hour and they repeat the same thing over that doesn’t help at all and I can only find a UK number to call. I am returning mine due to lack of knowledgeable support. Also Zarina B just up and ended the chat on me while we were still speaking. Bad bad bad customer support.

Greater than one week500GB SSD for $46 from a well known mfg with a proven track record. Excellent performance. The Crucial Storage Executive is a handy utility bundled with the unit. It will monitor the health of all your SMART capable drives. The Momentum Cache gives a significant performance boost. Comes bundled with a light version of Acronis True Image. Overall a great value.

> 3 dayThe bad thing I learned about SSDs is there is no notice if the drive is going to fail. Once it fails you are pretty much toast. If you are going to run anything other than Samsung I would probably run redundant. But also swapping out each drive every 6 months to a year. At the time of this purchase, Samsung was the more expensive option. But not knowing what the future would hold this Crucial SSD ended up dying on me and costing me a lot more money/time and permanent data loss. You have been warned!
