Crucial MX500 1TB 3D NAND SATA 2.5 Inch Internal SSD, up to 560MB/s - CT1000MX500SSD1

I had 250 Gig Crucial SSD that came with my laptop. Upgraded this to 1TB. I cloned my SSD. You must download Crucial Acronis Software for this procedure to work right. I guess you can pay for your Acronis as well but mine was free from Crucial. Only negative is that mine state 919 Gig of total storage. I dont know why its not closer to 1TB?

First I am not a computer expert. I have a ten year old PC and simply wanted to upgrade the RAM and old HDD drive to an SSD drive so my computer would be faster and I wouldnt have to buy a new PC. The drive appears to work but was a nightmare to get up and running. The cloning software DID NOT WORK. The cloning process was pretty straight forward from Crucial to download and use the automatic option to clone except it took 12 hours. Then when I started the computer I got an automatic repair screen that said that constantly came up and the computer would not boot up. I was able to get the computer to stop automatically applying the automatic repair and this is what came up next.

The SSD came with a free software download to clone the slow HHD that was in my laptop. While cloning via the USB port was slow (hours), when I installed the new SSD the results were amazing.

This is a great product. Prefer it over the 850PRO Samsung for reliability over time

Para mi PC de escritorio compré un SSD de otra marca, que por la rapidez de respuesta me motivó a hacer un upgrade a mi laptop. En Amazon busqué un modelo de SSD que pudiera ser usado en mi laptop y este modelo fue uno de ellos. No he notado la diferencia en velocidad de ejecución usando en SSD en comparación con el HDD que usaba anteriormente (que estaba funcionando bien, el cambio fue por mas velocidad nada mas). Hice una inversión que no podía y al final se convirtió en un gasto ya que ni usando el software que recomiendan para optimizar el SSD hay una respuesta satisfactoria.
