> 3 dayFinally something that just worked first try. Cloning software super easy to use, no researching what went wrong and how to deal with it. Tip - at each step of the cloning setup be patient as it searches for drives, itll get there, and if you interrupt it or go out of order youll have to redo that step. I rarely write reviews, thank you Crucial team!

> 3 dayI used the software from the crucial website to clone my 2 1/2 drive in my laptop. It worked perfectly. I installed this SSD in the same socket I removed the old HDD from and the machine booted right up. It appeared to be at least 4 times faster than the old drive. Everything opens and closes much faster then before the upgrade. Just remember to initialize the new drive in disk management. You will need a SATA to USB cord or a SATA 2.5 enclosure if you want to clone. I bought the 1TB unit.

Greater than one weekI have installed a number of SSD drives for various different customers and this is the first one I have ever had that failed. It worked fine for close to a year and then without notice it just stopped working entirely.

> 3 daySamsung would be my first choice but they never match on price. I’ll trad 5 percent performance for a 30 percent discount all day long.

> 3 dayThe Crucial drive was perfect. It replaced a 128 gig main drive in my computer. Their software to clone C: drive went without a hitch. It formatted the drive to its full capacity and then copied all files from C: drive. Took out the old SSD drive and and put the Crucial drive in and my computer started right up. Only took about 15 minutes from start to finish. Would buy again.
