Works well in my Dell Inspiron 5555. Formatted it externally and cloned it overnight, then installed in less than 10 minutes the next morning. Boot time is incredibly faster. Much less wait on disk and less power consumed. Nice to have the old drive as a backup.

I have upgraded/repaired quite a few laptops with this series of Crucial SSDs and they have all yielded great results. Speed is terrific and operation is flawless. Have used for Windows and linux installations.

Helped a friend upgrade her Late-2012 Mac Mini with additional RAM and this Crucial SSD. This drive is a direct drop-in replacement for the original 1TB HDD that came stock on the Mac Mini at that time.

It’s known for its stability and it’s proved it. My son is using it for his gaming computer and he doesn’t complain about anything about it. Good product.

UPDATE (8/30/2022): Id give this negative stars if I could. My RMA requests have been cancelled twice now because theyve been open for so long waiting for approval from them that the company just automatically closes them rather than actually provide customer service or replacements. Heading off to BBB now as well to file consumer complaints there for their downright awful performance as a product and a business. I have never had such a horrible experience with a company, and that says a lot as Ive been a customer of Comcasts, DirecTVs, and AT&Ts before.

Upgraded my fathers spinning 2.5 HDD with this SSD to extend the life of a budget laptop. Its a dramatic improvement of performance, and so far ( 6months?) has been a reliable device. See SSD UserBenchmarks site for comparison between this and other units. Id never choose this over the more expensive, and higher performing Samsung for a main computing desktop or anything, but it suits my cost/value application very well. This is a well reviewed and popular SSD, and I wouldnt hesitate to use it again if the application comes up.
