This thing just rocks - its fast. Eventually I will have an *nix box up and then I will be able to provide good metrics, but I pipe my ATEM Mini Pro into this thing direct and it takes it no problem. I dont know about gaming but video capture from a deck works.

I will be buying a couple more for the computers and playstation at home.

It wasnt easy to install but the Mac Mini is not really build to replace the disk drive. I was able to add this as a second drive and it works great. The computer boots up instantly and no more lag when several apps are up. As a second drive installation was simple since the Mac let me copy the old drive and make this the boot drive. Great product if you dont have a solid state hard drive in your mac.

I received a fake SSD with nothing inside of the drive except the SATA connector.

This drive was very easy to install. I got a large (2TB) drive with plenty of capacity for me. I am pleased with Crucial support.

Tried cloning using software they suggested. Wanted to simply replace my HD to speed up computer. Appeared to clone but would not boot off the ssd. Had to pay computer tech to try to fix. Resulted in buying a ssd from him for which he made it a bootable drive then copied all my documents. Had to reinstall and re-register all my apps, email and programs, something I had hoped to avoid. I am afraid to return the ssd for fear my personal info still on it that someone may know how to access. Computer tech suspected Windows 10 was the issue in not allowing cloning. I am left with dead ssd that cannot receive a refund for.
