> 3 dayIt sells for a decent price for 2TB. It does the job for gaming and day to day tasks. The lifespan should be decent because of its high TBW.

> 3 dayLove the speed and it bolted in easily once I found the screws. The issue I ran into will be specific to folks running a Asus B450 ROG board with LED lighting, or possibly any machine running the Lighting Service in Windows. Once I installed the drive and attempted to boot Windows (from another drive with this one installed) I got a BSOD and no boot. I knew this was due to the new drive, but the BSOD was non-specific. I found on Reddit that someone tried disabling the Lighting Service in services.msc. This worked for me from Safe Mode and allowed Windows to boot normally. I hope this helps someone else with a similar setup or issue.

> 3 dayEasy to install, ordered wrong one at first ,( you need the nvme not the m.2 -The m.2 will have 2 notches, the nvme has only one notch )you can see the old 250 gb on right & just loosen 8 screws on bottom of laptop, pry apart the bottom from the case carefully like opening a clam :) you see the empty spot upper right where it goes. just a pocket screwdriver that you use for the bottom plate screws is the same as the single one for the harddrive they dont strip if you have a good one. I used a flathead pocket screw driver to pry apart the case & bottom. if you really wanted you could upgrade the ram for $50 but i think 8 gb is fine for home & small buisness use. Shopping, school, using our stores remote cameras, teamviewer ect this laptop is great & the only ones avail right now are the 250 GB ones so this is a great upgrade! Go into the bios, disable secure boot & made a bootable zip from microsoft & then installed linux mint for dual boot.

> 3 dayI upgraded from a failing/slow regular stock HDD to this SSD and the difference was amazing. I had no issues installing it and migrating my Windows to the new drive. All my games appear to load faster, Windows loads faster, even shutting down is faster! Well worth the money for the speed increase.

> 3 dayBought a new laptop and needed a larger NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD. This fit the bill. Crucial is made my Micron, one of, if not the best memory manufacturer out there. So no issues with quality here. This device is lighting quick and has tons of storage. One issue I had wasnt with the SSD itself but the software Crucial recommends--Acronis True Image. Got it for free because, hey, Crucial SSD. Welp, it did not recognize I had a Crucial SSD when it was either in a NVMe USB-C enclosure or in the laptop itself. I had to use different software to clone everything. Now its all done and things are great!

> 3 dayVery fast! Replacing an SSd can be tricky - the cloning software provided worked, but resulted in two drives since the Crucial was twice the size of the original. It was easier for me to backup my system to a memory stick, replace the SSD with the new Crucial and then restore the system from the memory stick.

> 3 dayMakes your system run much smoother in terms of performance, than your regular ssd 2.3. This is definitely something I would recommend for a gaming PC or any system that you need performance out of. This was a definitely a great upgrade. My system would stall at times. It has an old Samsung SSD. 840.

> 3 dayI use it for my OS and gaming and i absolutely love its overall speed’s and utility. The downloadable software’s from the manufacturers website is actually good if you are switching from sata hdd/ssd. I cloned my main os drive in under 30 minutes and booted to my bios and forced the boot options to the new NVMe first. Then once i was booted into Windows i wiped my old sata ssd and now use it for my production only.

> 3 daythe software that came with the drive made my life easier, I copied from a standard ssd drive the whole system as it is to this drive. (I know its not recommended to do it that way but Im lazy).

> 3 dayI bought this and had it the next day and popped it in no problem ... aside from the fact that I had to dig through my random spare parts box to find a screw. I copied all my files from my smaller m.2 to this one at 1.0 gbps and so far no issues. Just so lame it doesnt come with a screw.
