Greater than one weekEasy to install, ordered wrong one at first ,( you need the nvme not the m.2 -The m.2 will have 2 notches, the nvme has only one notch )you can see the old 250 gb on right & just loosen 8 screws on bottom of laptop, pry apart the bottom from the case carefully like opening a clam :) you see the empty spot upper right where it goes. just a pocket screwdriver that you use for the bottom plate screws is the same as the single one for the harddrive they dont strip if you have a good one. I used a flathead pocket screw driver to pry apart the case & bottom. if you really wanted you could upgrade the ram for $50 but i think 8 gb is fine for home & small buisness use. Shopping, school, using our stores remote cameras, teamviewer ect this laptop is great & the only ones avail right now are the 250 GB ones so this is a great upgrade! Go into the bios, disable secure boot & made a bootable zip from microsoft & then installed linux mint for dual boot.

Greater than one weekI bought this SSD to put into my Razer Blade 15. It was easy to install and performs like a dream! All my download/upload speeds are incredibly fast. Games load very quickly as well. The overall performance of my laptop is just so much better since installing this SSD. I have had zero issues with this product at all.

> 3 daySo far so good with this little stick of gum. Read speeds of 3400/mbps and write of 1700/mbps(250GB model). Upgraded from an mx500(sata) and although the difference is less tangible than going from hdd to ssd its still faster. From 1 minute boot times on hdd to 8-12 second boot times on the mx500 and now Im seeing 5-6 second boot times with this one. Its running exactly as it should.

> 3 daysuper fast and with space to spare. I got it mainly to remove the mechanical drive, as i had a 512GB SSD which i replaced with this, and because it is PCI express while my old ssd is sata

14-04-2025This is a great SSD that tends to get overshadowed by other SSDs. Its easy to install into your pc, pretty much just plug and play. Its great for gaming as youll get better and faster load times, its also great for transferring and downloading files as youll be able to half the amount of time or possibly even more.

> 3 dayI am using this as external storage for my PS4 games on my PS5. The 1 TB size is perfect for me as I can store all of the games I am currently playing with room to spare. The drive seems to allow for very fast read and write speeds. I was able to transfer God of War in a little over a minute. I have experienced a game freeze while playing Miles Morales but I don’t believe it had anything to do with the drive as this game was uploaded to the PS5 internal SSD.

> 3 dayDid not realise that you need to source your own screw to install the SSD in the laptop. However, once a screw was eventually found, the drive was installed easily and worked fine. Significantly quicker load times across the board compared to the original HDD in the laptop.

> 3 dayBought a new laptop and needed a larger NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD. This fit the bill. Crucial is made my Micron, one of, if not the best memory manufacturer out there. So no issues with quality here. This device is lighting quick and has tons of storage. One issue I had wasnt with the SSD itself but the software Crucial recommends--Acronis True Image. Got it for free because, hey, Crucial SSD. Welp, it did not recognize I had a Crucial SSD when it was either in a NVMe USB-C enclosure or in the laptop itself. I had to use different software to clone everything. Now its all done and things are great!
