> 3 dayThis is my first M.2, upon reading reviews and doing a little research I decided on Crucial and I do NOT regret my decision!!! I’ll likely be picking up another one because what’s better than 1 2TB Crucial SSD??? 2 of them. I run my OS and my biggest game on mine. Use 2TB Seagate for storage.

> 3 dayI upgraded the stock NVME SSD for this fast and bigger capacity drive. I am extremely happy with the performance my gaming laptop has now. I’m glad I can always coins on Crucial for good quality parts for my computers. I’ve been using them for years now and none of them fail.

Greater than one weekGot this on sale for $40 during prime day. Used it to upgrade an early 2015 macbook air. I was having trouble with installation of the MacOS. It kept crashing for some reason. At first, I thought it was the adapter, but it turned out to be a bad NVME drive. After getting the replacement, everything has been smooth and it super quick.

> 3 dayI use this plainly just for more reliable storage and it does exactly what I expect it to do. There is nothing wrong with this product, remember to initiate the drive in Windows with Disk Manager to assign the SSD a drive letter and such.

> 3 dayI put this in a new, custom ITX build. Its on an MSI b450i Gaming Plus Max motherboard with 32GB Crucial RAM and a Ryzen 3 3200g. Installation was easy. Its mounted under the motherboard, so I added extra fans to circulate the air. Again, this is squeezed into a custom case. Before adding the fans, I was reaching about 70 degrees, now I max out at 64, but stay under 60 most of the time. Since this was a new build, I didnt have to transfer data over from a previous drive. I have the 500GB version paired with a 1TB mx500.

> 3 dayIf you already have a SATA SSD, this drive isnt going to blow you away, especially for games. The scenarios where you will see the most benefit are from sequential transactions such as reading and writing large files. You will get a noticeable improvement all around, but the difference will be minor. Also, no screws are included. I dont see why they couldnt include at least one screw and standoff. I had to buy a mounting set because my motherboard didnt come with any.

> 3 dayI decided Id given Samsung enough of my money and decided to pick this up in 2TB for a gaming drive. Im not angry, just a little disappointed that I happened upon a drive that advertised such a dramatic difference. The price was slashed by almost half, I paid about $150 for an NVMe that has about 15% less potential bandwidth than the *maximum* advertised bandwidth. It was an objectively good buy factoring in the discount I received and I would assume the seller knows this is happening and adjusted the price as a result; I just feel like I didnt get the deal I was advertised. Turns out some other companies like Kingston, PNY, and Adata got caught with their pants down in the past selling SSDs with chips different than what was sent to editors and launch buyers. So just like with RAM kits, watch your vendors and roll the dice when the price is right. Lesson learned. Reality is crystal disk scores dont matter *that* much, PC mark says it performs about like other drives Ive bought. Well see what the longevity is like and thats my biggest concern with lower bin chips. Tl;dr this product is a dice roll, get it on a big sale to be safe.

> 3 dayI bought this and had it the next day and popped it in no problem ... aside from the fact that I had to dig through my random spare parts box to find a screw. I copied all my files from my smaller m.2 to this one at 1.0 gbps and so far no issues. Just so lame it doesnt come with a screw.

> 3 dayI installed this SSD in my Lenovo A40 all-in-one pc and it improved the speed tremendously. I also added 4 gb of memory for a total of 8gb. In now boots in less than 10 seconds!! In my ratings for Tech Support & Gaming, I gave it a 3, because I dont do gaming and I didnt need tech support, and there was no opportunity to choose Not Applicable, so those can be ignored.

> 3 dayGreat product. Installed easily into my Dell Inspiron 7786. Breathed new life into my laptop after the HDD failed. Now the laptop is running faster than ever, and gaming with Bethesda Skyrim is flawless at highest resolution. Exceptionally pleased with performance.
