> 3 dayAt first I didn’t think this ssd would make a difference in my laptop performance. When the ssd got delivered, I installed it in my laptop. Install was easy. I then did a speed test, after I had set everything to be working, and man, there was a big difference in speed. My laptop is now booting in seconds. Games load faster. The whole Windows os feels faster. I really recommend this ssd, it’s worth the 60$

> 3 dayI decided Id given Samsung enough of my money and decided to pick this up in 2TB for a gaming drive. Im not angry, just a little disappointed that I happened upon a drive that advertised such a dramatic difference. The price was slashed by almost half, I paid about $150 for an NVMe that has about 15% less potential bandwidth than the *maximum* advertised bandwidth. It was an objectively good buy factoring in the discount I received and I would assume the seller knows this is happening and adjusted the price as a result; I just feel like I didnt get the deal I was advertised. Turns out some other companies like Kingston, PNY, and Adata got caught with their pants down in the past selling SSDs with chips different than what was sent to editors and launch buyers. So just like with RAM kits, watch your vendors and roll the dice when the price is right. Lesson learned. Reality is crystal disk scores dont matter *that* much, PC mark says it performs about like other drives Ive bought. Well see what the longevity is like and thats my biggest concern with lower bin chips. Tl;dr this product is a dice roll, get it on a big sale to be safe.

> 3 dayI use it for my OS and gaming and i absolutely love its overall speed’s and utility. The downloadable software’s from the manufacturers website is actually good if you are switching from sata hdd/ssd. I cloned my main os drive in under 30 minutes and booted to my bios and forced the boot options to the new NVMe first. Then once i was booted into Windows i wiped my old sata ssd and now use it for my production only.

> 3 dayIve owned many ssds and not necessarily nvmes for a while. I have devices with them, but I used this drive to install in my brothers pc setup. After roughly 20-26 days, my brother experienced some very odd stuff. The drive would suddenly say it had used 900 gb/1 tb. Afterwards windows would prevent him from logging in and it threw an error stating he was typing the wrong pin. What it turned out to be was the beginning of a failing drive. After we reformatted and cloned the drive again from new, we again tried to use the drive. This time we went through multiple BSODs and never got into windows again. I tried a long time before I hated to admit this, but the drive failed. I tried to find like 20 other things as the issue until I decided to call it quits. So I had someone buy a new drive for us which I will not name at this time (otherwise its like I am shilling for another company). So far the other drive works perfectly and I doubt it will happen again, but if it crashes after 20-26 days, Ill be back here to raise the star rating. Overall, I bet the drive is great, but I wasted a lot of time and effort helping my brother which would have been nice if the drive did not fail. I will boost the rating if the new drive fails as then it would be fair, but at this state I believe I am being fair with the review.

> 3 dayFor gaming and a boit drive, it works really well. I will note that the screw cut out is a little big so it could be tricky to install. Also, it is not a full size m.2 drive. So on my motherboard it was actually between the longest screw and the shortest.

Greater than one weekThis NVME has been amazing for me and offers much faster speeds than my slow mechanical hard drive. It has been great for my use as my gaming drive and storing my larger games on there. Definitely recommend, especially if you can get it for the $80 like I did!

> 3 dayComing from a traditional Samsung SSD which I thought was fast this absolutely ousts it! I made this my C: drive and put a fresh install of windows 10 on it. Id say from off to fully loaded takes about 10 - 15 seconds. There are never any hiccups and daily use is snappy and buttery smooth.

> 3 dayThe installation was easier than I expected, but I was not able to get the downloadable Acronis True Image software for Crucial to recognize the new drive while I was cloning the old SSD to the Crucial (I was using the Crucial in an external sidecar enclosure). I downloaded a freeware cloning software package that took care of that problem. Other than that, its currently in my Dell XPS 8920 and performing without any problems.
