> 3 dayI put this in a new, custom ITX build. Its on an MSI b450i Gaming Plus Max motherboard with 32GB Crucial RAM and a Ryzen 3 3200g. Installation was easy. Its mounted under the motherboard, so I added extra fans to circulate the air. Again, this is squeezed into a custom case. Before adding the fans, I was reaching about 70 degrees, now I max out at 64, but stay under 60 most of the time. Since this was a new build, I didnt have to transfer data over from a previous drive. I have the 500GB version paired with a 1TB mx500.

> 3 dayThere are two NVME slots in my laptop and this drive disappears randomly when installed in either slot. It is only 3 months old and used for mostly static storage not a boot drive. My other off-brand Inland SSD works fine installed in either slot. So much for brand name drives being more reliable. At least, when it works, the data is accessible and it is decently fast. Now it is time to find out how good or bad the warranty support is for a nearly $200 drive with a random hard to diagnose problem.

22-11-2024I was nearly out of storage on my Samsung 980 Pro that I use for my boot drive and programs, and wanted to download more games. I came looking for an M.2 NVME drive that was 2TB since I only have one more M.2 slot on my motherboard. Given that all I was doing is gaming, there was no need to spend the money on a PCIe 4.0 drive when a 3.0 is plenty fast for gaming. Plus, at a price of $195, there was no other option. So far the drive has been great. It was instantly recognized by my BIOS and I had no issues formatting the drive. I have now moved all of my Steam, Epic Games, and Origin libraries to this drive, and still have 1.6 TB to go. Very pleased with this SSD.

> 3 dayAlthough I have been running SSD only computers for a while, they have always been the standard SATA SSDs, limited to about 550MB/sec transfer rate, which is already very fast when compared to even the fastest SATA HDs. However after researching and watching many review videos, I decided to give the Crucial P5 a shot, and I am extremely glad I did! As you can see in the two uploaded screenshots I have provided, my SATA SSD, (a Crucial MX500 1TB) reads at about 562 MB/sec and writes at about 517 MB/sec. However when running that same test on the Crucial P5 NVME SSD, the read speeds are around 3500 MB/sec and write speed is around 3200 MB/sec! The speed increase is off the charts! I am very happy with my purchase!

> 3 dayGood value for the money. The only issue with the drive that I can find is that it runs rather hot--even at idle. Since I installed the drive in a Dell Optiplex 7050 MT, I added a heat sink to it, and it dropped the temps 11 - 12C. Since adding the heat sink, the drive has not gone over 47C, which is reasonable. No throttling or freezing at that temperature. The performance, even over a SATA SSD, is exceptional.

> 3 dayWorks well. Their site has a good version of Acronis software to transfer from the old drive.

Greater than one weekI bought this SSD to put into my Razer Blade 15. It was easy to install and performs like a dream! All my download/upload speeds are incredibly fast. Games load very quickly as well. The overall performance of my laptop is just so much better since installing this SSD. I have had zero issues with this product at all.

19-11-2024I dont use this for gaming, but I do a lot of engineering drawing work and video editing. It is really nice to have the extra space for work, and the extra speed. I never needed support - just drop it into the slot, tighten the screws, and set up the drive.

> 3 dayPurchased this 2TB upgrade for my Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon (6th Gen). Cloned my existing drive as is using Acronis then installed in computer. The Lenovo diagnostic and repair utility started automatically, then selecting the advanced options I was able to select the new drive as the primary boot device. After that everything worked fine. I didnt really expect much except increased capacity given the problems Intel has been having with chipset fixes through Microsoft updates, but in fact the increased speed over my original P2 is easy to see. Displays are more snappy, software loading is faster, software controls are more crisp. Overall, a great product!
