> 24 hourPerfect plug-and-play in my 2005 Outback XT. Took about 30 minutes to install since I had to remove some interior panels to access the wiring and remove the old OEM system that had failed.

> 24 hourIt works beautifully, but the instructions will make you damage your 2000-2004 Outback tearing apart the interior looking for the pigtail. The pigtail is on the passenger side, not the drivers side. I even called customer support and was given the wrong informatino again. And the person on the phone tried to tell me that he had just done the same thing on his mother in laws Outback so just keep digging, it is in there somewhere. Look online for videos and you will see that everyone else is finding it on the passenger side.

> 24 hourThis is how to install on 2003 outback. Step 1, throw away directions or use them to start the BBQ. Step 2 locate connectors (readily apparent on OPPOSITE side of wheel well from instructions Step 3 plug it in Step 4 ( hardest part) go through the rubber plug down by the spare. I sealed it with a drop or 2 of e6000 to make sure.

> 24 hourInstall was easy on my 2005 Subaru Outback. Hardest part is getting to the connector in the car.

> 24 hourThere is a video on YouTube that is much more helpful than the instructions that came with the wiring package that showed the wiring connector on the passenger side of the Outback and buried where you cant see it but can reach in and pull it out. My 2004 Outback wagon had it in that location. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyoPYzOBNyA

> 24 hourWorked for about a year, then the converter box went out. Signal was going in just fine (tested with a muti-meter), but just the left blinker was coming out.

> 24 hourInstalled on a 2005 Subaru Outback Limited Wagon. This is probably the 5th or 6th trailer harness I have installed in the past 5 years, and was easily the simplest. It truly is plug and play. Remove the rear mat, uncover and remove the spare tire, and then remove the carpet on left side of the trunk area. Plug connector is located in the back left corner of the car, tucked up behind the panel that houses the rear auxiliary power outlet. Youll probably see it, or a wire, hanging down. Give it a tug and attach the Curt harness. Remove the rubber plug in the bottom of the spare tire area, run the harness through the hole, reinstall the plug, reinstall everything else, tie the harness up under the rear bumper cover, and youre good to go. Less than 15 minutes for me, from start to finish. Well worth the few extra bucks to avoid splicing wires.

> 24 hourPerfect fit for a 2005 Subaru Forester. The plug is in the trunk passenger side. It night ne taped up to the other wires so peel off the electrical tape bonding them together. It took me 15 minutes to locate it because the plug was hidden under all that tape. Plug in the pool lugs and insert the fuse. Youre done! Super easy.
