> 3 dayThe instructions that came with this were very simple. Literally you just pull back a few interior pieces and carpet and theres a magic little plug you plug the connector to and run the wires through the grommet and boom its working. Had it for almost a year now and still works great.

> 3 dayPut this in my 02 Outback wagon. Direct plug and play. Have to pull panel off passenger side read (inside but over filler neck) and it plugs into existing port. I ran the connector through the rubber drain plug in the bottom of spare tire well and back to bumper. Works perfect

22-11-2024This is a fine product. The 2000 subaru legacy wagon does not have the plug for this connector. The legacy outback does, but not the legacy wagon. I ended up cutting the end off and just hard wiring it.

> 3 dayBought this for 2004 Subaru Forester XT. Worked perfectly. Just had to remove spare tire, and one interior cover panel, and plug it in. Then snaked the trailer plug end down and out to the rear bumper. Had the same unit on my 1998 Subaru Forester. Worked on my 98 for almost 11 years. Enough Said!

> 3 dayExcellent kit. Everything you need is included. The fact that the standard Subaru harness was built with an extra plug for this trailer wiring was a Godsend. Just plug and play. It took longer to open the package than it did to install the harness!

> 3 dayEasy, if you know where to look. The directions as to where to find the plug-in to the tail light assembly are nowhere near where the actual connection is

> 3 dayInstall was easy on my 2005 Subaru Outback. Hardest part is getting to the connector in the car.
