I bought it a year ago and it worked great. plugged right in and good to go. I use it almost every weekend to haul things in my trailers. Now all of a sudden the left tail light comes on and not the right, and only the right blinker works. Of course I need my trailer again tomorrow and I will have no lights. Absolute garbage, and this is my second one in 2 years.

Love it. Easy install, it plugged right into the Tribeca B9s lighting pigtail in the back. No cutting or splicing normally needed. I opted to put the trailer side plug wiring through an existing poke through plug so i did have to cut the trailer end plug off to feed the wire through. You dont have to do that, you just leave it all attached and store it in the little inside compartment in the back of the Tribeca B9.

Bought this for 2004 Subaru Forester XT. Worked perfectly. Just had to remove spare tire, and one interior cover panel, and plug it in. Then snaked the trailer plug end down and out to the rear bumper. Had the same unit on my 1998 Subaru Forester. Worked on my 98 for almost 11 years. Enough Said!

Installation is very easy. Adequate cord length.

There is a video on YouTube that is much more helpful than the instructions that came with the wiring package that showed the wiring connector on the passenger side of the Outback and buried where you cant see it but can reach in and pull it out. My 2004 Outback wagon had it in that location. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyoPYzOBNyA

I like this harness, but wish it came with the black tubing in the picture(have to buy some now). I was easily able to hook this up to my 2000 Subaru Outback and feed it through one of the 2 holes in the spare tire well(there is one closer to the plug and one across the well from it, covered with grommets.). I was really hoping for that tubing so it doesnt look like rainbows underneath my black bumper cover. Remember to test the harness right after plugging it in, rather than waiting until youve nicely put everything back in its place!
