Works great! Never touched it after I plugged it in, and thats a GOOD thing. Easy plug-n-play. Doesnt get hot at all. Transfer speeds I reached a max sustain of 95MB/s connected to my other gig switch (8-port version). Got it on sale for $19.99, was a STEAL at that price!

Easy to setup and works like a charm. Only thing I would change is to have a couple extra ports as 5 is pushing it with one being used for the uplink.

Finally got faster than 100 MB Internet and thus needed a Gig switch. This is a great, compact and affordable switch for my home. I like it a lot, does exactly what I need.

I love these switches. They are a great way to prepare my house for streaming and the additional ports come in very handy at each location I put them in.

I have installed two of these switches in my home network and they both work fine and were easy to set up. No configuration needed.

Im a tech enthusiast so I am somewhat demanding of my products. I bought this switch over a year and a half ago and it has held up to everything Ive thrown at it. I have a home server and a NAS that I use to host multiple applications and virtual machines and this switch transparently handles getting the data where I need it without any issues. I also connect a wireless access point, a raspberry pi, a router and a laptop and it happily serves them all. I was honestly not expecting this level of performance for the price; I thought Id be buying a much more expensive enthusiast-grade switch by now. Im happy thats not the case.
