Was easy to setup really. Works fine. I kinda like the rounded top shape: it looks less urilitarian purched on top of the desktop tower.

Ive been using two of these for over a year, and havent had any problems. My advice: buy twice as many ports as you think youll need!

This switch wont work for me. I have a printer connected to my network through a USB to Ethernet device. (A monoprice USB to Ethernet print server.) This worked great with my previous switch. But with this new switch, the power save feature wont detect activity coming from the printer (the printer also has a power-save mode), and therefore I cant see the printer on my network. This stupid switch puts the port into power-saving mode, and therefore I cant print. This power save feature is the worst idea ever. A switch should be reliable. I dont want to theoretically save some minute amount of power consumption in order to disable ports when my switch doesnt think I need them. This is, without a doubt, a horrible switch. Do not buy this one. I had great luck with a LinkSys switch in the past. I should have paid more attention to the brands. D-Link has failed me in the past, and it is failing me again. Power save on a switch port, when no activity is detected? And it wont wake up when I try to print? That is so, so, so stupid. Edit: I have since tried another brand of switch. I am experiencing the same problem with my printer port in powersave mode. So, Im editing my review to give this product 3 stars / average review. Im still not happy that modern switches exhibit this behavior, but if it is the new standard then I shouldnt take my frustration out on this brand specifically. Just be aware of this. If you have an older network printer or older devices that themselves have a powersave mode, they might not work with powersave switches. As time passes, as with all technology, it will become less of a problem as everyone adopts this standard. If only we could disable this feature on a port by port basis, it would have been fine.

The D-Link Gigabit Desktop Switch looks great, with its blinking LEDs on the front side of the device; it was also drop-dead easy to setup. It just works. Also, the price was great so I purchased 2 of them! What else can I say? Its a great product!

We put this switch in service as soon as we got it. It looks and feels like a nice quality product and seems to be doing the job.

Opened the box, hooked up three LAN Cat 6 cables and everything operates normally. Turned one connection into two for my DVD and Dish Sat receiver. Came in one day early. Love Amazon.com!!!

Does a great job, no issues. Have two of these, they just stay up. Managed capability would be nice, but forgivable for the price.
