> 24 hourWe used for concrete countertops and the pads worked well, however the Hook and Loop backer broke due to the rubber tore after 10-15 mins of use. I believe due to the handheld grinder speed was too fast. Recommend a variable speed and also probably a good idea to buy an extra Hook and Loop pad as a back-up. Being in a small town and nowhere to buy a replacement I ended up having to purchase a 6 Hook and Loop attachment to use with an electric screwdriver/drill. It worked fine.

> 24 hourWe used these to bullnose our own porcelain tile. Worked well and much less expensive than buying factory bullnose.

> 24 hourGreat products last a long time. I just threw away my first 200 grit from this kit last month. Im a general contractor that specializes in tile work, and I often need to grind or polish edges and 200 grit is my default for non shiney surfaces. Last a long time! Much cheaper than the local guys.

> 24 hourThese things work great. I used these to polish my concrete countertop and they were perfect for the job. The lower grit pads I did use with water and I’m glad because they did were out pretty fast and I was glad they sent 2 of each. The higher grits worked fantastic with a little water and provided a very smooth surface

> 24 hourThese worked great to edge polish Quartz countertop I salvaged. Unable to match the factory top polish on a new seam. Not bad for DIY.

> 24 hourThese polishing pads are great for the price. No problem polishing granite both light color and dark. Had only one problem when I was polishing out in high temp and direct sun the glue on the velcro pad let go. The polishing pad and velcro flew of at high speed never to be found.

> 24 hourMy project was a granite counter top for an outside BBQ area. I cut the granite with a circular saw and diamond blade, then used these pads with a variable speed angle grinder to polish the edges. I did this dry for grits 50, 100, 200, and 400. When I got to 800 I found I needed to keep the surface wet or else there was a brown haze that would develop. I plugged the angle grinder into a GFCI and kept the surface just wet. I didnt drown it with a hose or anything. I just used a pitcher of water and would spill a little where I was working. When it started to dry up, Id pour a little more water on and keep working. Using these was really no more complicated than using a sander for fine woodworking and finishing. The 50 grit was course enough to take off any saw marks. In fact my granite remnant had a saw mark that must have been on an unseen edge when originally installed. The ridge of the saw mark was about 1/32. The 50 grit smoothed that over in about 15 minutes, going back and forth along the entire edge so as not to create a scallop. I would definitely recommend these and as a result of my experience will not hesitate to try other granite/stone projects.
