> 3 dayThese worked great to edge polish Quartz countertop I salvaged. Unable to match the factory top polish on a new seam. Not bad for DIY.

> 3 dayBeen procrastinating this purchase for a few years now, but I’m totally glad I finally did. I’m not a stone worker just like DIY project and keeping stuff nice around the house. So far I used these on a marble countertop to take out some surface imperfections and stains. Started with the 800 grit and finished with the 6000. The marble of course needed a marble polish compound, but these pads allowed for a complete clean slate to polish the marble. The granite in the kitchen in next on the list to bring back to new condition.

> 3 dayGreat products last a long time. I just threw away my first 200 grit from this kit last month. Im a general contractor that specializes in tile work, and I often need to grind or polish edges and 200 grit is my default for non shiney surfaces. Last a long time! Much cheaper than the local guys.

> 3 dayThis product isn’t worth the price or Amazon review quality. I purchased them to polish the edges of unsealed marble tile for a bathroom remodel. I used a variable speed sander with a hook and loop attachment. At first, the pads work great, providing an even polish and even taking off some rough edges due to some challenging cut angles. But, after only a few days of use, I noticed scratches starting to show as I worked my way through the grit process. I was having to go back down several grits to polish the scratches out, then work my way back up, costing me VALUABLE TIME AND MONEY. After repeated attempts to correct any and everything that I could think of (polishing patterns, pressure, wet, dry, skipping grits, using a sealer with high shine, etc), the scratches are still very noticeable and are obviously caused by the pads. I expected to get 10 times the use out of these pads before they began wearing down, but this is just disappointing that they have begun to lose their polishing ability this soon.

> 3 dayAlthough the product does not mention this, I used these with a standard orbital sander and they worked quite well - just takes more time and elbow grease than the more expensive water fed polisher. The velcro back of the pad stuck right to the orbital sander and I sponged water on the concrete surface. Need to apply a fair amount of pressure to the sander. This is one of the methods recommended by Cheng and these pads are cheaper than the ones he sells on his site.

> 3 dayThese worked as advertised. There are best used with a buffer. Since they are 4 diameter, use with a drill is difficult to get even material removal and polishing.

> 3 dayWe bought these to polish/ grind our new granite counter tops that we installed ourselves. Honestly, I dont think my husband used all of the pads yet, but the ones he did use he was very happy with. I will mention that if you are doing granite, you should probably practice on a junk slab with the higher grit pads. We accidentally took a good size chip out of the granite when trying to grind a corner to make a rounded edge (but it isnt noticeable when the granite glue was added). After my husband figured out the angle and pressure to use our grinder at, he didnt have any more problems. These pads are great

> 3 dayIm working on 120 linear feet of tumbled rock wall topped by granite caps. I bought these to soften some edges on the caps and had high hopes before they arrived. However, I was severely disappointed when I opened the box. First, on the plus side, the pieces were all there and the packaging was fine. That said, the pads didnt look right as they seemed to be missing the diamond specs. My first test was to close my eyes and rub my fingers across the pads. I literally could not tell the difference between the 50 grit pad and the 6000 grit pad. Anyone who has used both will get right away that doesnt bode well for effectiveness. Ive never experienced that before, and it was not a great confidence builder. I decided I might as well try the pads to see if maybe they had invented a diamond pad where actual abrasion wasnt important to them working -- Always the optimist. I went ahead and used the 50 grit pad. However, after a few minutes I had precious little dust, let alone any material removal. Net, maybe their 50 grit is useful as a 3000 grit replacement. However, if you are actually looking to use any of the 50 grit to perhaps 1500 grit pads, I would avoid this. IMHO.
