Greater than one weekThese polishing disks exceed my expectations. I use them to polish gems and minerals. It is much faster than the tumbler we have been using. I just shape the stone with the 50 grit and then follow up with the finer grit pads in order. I rigged a polish grinder to mount the pad holder. The rpm range was in the proper range. Then clamp the grinder so it stays put. I dip the stones in water often to keep them cooled down. I imagine I will have to get more 50 and 100 grit pads at some point, but the very fine grit should last a very long time. I am a very happy guy!!

> 3 dayI used these pads for the edges of marble tile for my counter top. The grittier pads (50 100 400) worked well however the fine grit pads ( 800 and up) gummed up and left black residue on the tile and pads. I had to repeatedly stop and use wd-40 to clean the pads and marble from the black residue. Im not sure if this is caused by a high rpm grinder or the fact that I was working on an edge as opposed to a flat surface. But, the sheen on the edge of the tiles now match the factory surface, so Im happy with the final product but the pads need to be thrown out.

> 3 dayThese worked great. You have to have a variable speed polisher, not grinder. The people who said they come appart are using an angle grinder, not polisher. I bought one at harbor freight for $30. Very happy with the results.

Greater than one weekThe Velcro came loose from the backing pad after approximately three hours of use, so I was annoyed about that. After I actually read the specs for the product I realized my grinder spins far too fast for these. Works great on an actual polisher. The polishing pads themselves seem fine, no complaints.

> 3 dayFor the price performance is good. Dry pads almost always leave a bit to be desired, but I was impressed at the level of performance given the price. We will see how long they last...

> 3 dayThe 100, 200, 400 worked great, I got out some bad scratches and etch marks out of marble. I don’t think the 800, 1000, or 3000 had any grit to them. They added very little to nothing for the effort, and didn’t give me the shine I was looking for. They didn’t create a slurry like the 100-400 did. I resurfaced a marble countertop, wet with a variable speed grinder at 2500 rpm. Maybe I did wrong but I ended up hiring a company to finish the job.

> 3 dayUPDATE - after two years: I purchased an orbital sander and gave it another try in parts of the shower walls, although these are one inch smaller and wet polishing almost destroys the sander, the results were good. I wish they were 5 inches. I really couldnt make my shower any better, for me was waste of the money and time and energy. I bought and used both wet and dry ones with no acceptable results I spend a lot time watching videos and reading and tried my best, I assume if I couldnt get results with this much effort, no body(unless professional pulisher) cant do it either.

> 3 dayIm using the 50 and 100 grit pads for polishing the concrete floor in my basement. Im using them with a Makita 9564CV angle grinder and a dust shroud. This grinder has a variable speed setting so I can keep the RPM at or below 5,000. The finish with this grit is actually amazing, it looks so much nicer than we originally expected. The seller even threw in two additional pads for free as a bonus, which was really cool. Very positive experience thus far!
