You need to write down which are the finest grit to the course ones. The numbers wear off and each of these type of products have different color codes. No paperwork to help with this either.

I used these on a die grinder to dry polish a concrete counter top. They worked great and show almost no signs of wear on most of them. One of the 50 grit one lost some chunks around the edges from use on corners but that is to be expected, especially since the counter had broken glass embedded in it. The pads polished no only the concrete, but the glass as well. I am extremely impressed and I would recommend them to anyone looking to polish concrete.

When I purchased these pads a month ago they only cost $11.99 plus shipping for a total of $16. and some change. Now there $38 plus shipping? Why the big cost jump? Well I found another set for 17.99 plus shipping on amazon so thats where Ill be buying my pads from now. Sorry tool trend but your cost hike lost you a retuning customer or should I say a not returning customer

Great products last a long time. I just threw away my first 200 grit from this kit last month. Im a general contractor that specializes in tile work, and I often need to grind or polish edges and 200 grit is my default for non shiney surfaces. Last a long time! Much cheaper than the local guys.

Backing pad was missing. Probably due to the box being ripped open and the sanding disk all out in the package

When I remodeled my bathroom using marble, I used a diamond router bit to round over the trim piece I cut, and then these pads to sand/polish the rough edges. This saved me a lot of money compared to purchasing marble trim. Plus I was able to custom size the molding so it would not interfere with light switches, door trim, etc. I worked with heavy rubber gloves and boots, because I sprayed water on the pads with a simple pump up garden type sprayer, and I wanted protection from electrical shock. Having extra pads really helped because the 50 and 100 grit pads tended to wear through prolonged use. This kit is way better than the comparable kit without extra pads.

The pads are excellent!!! The backer pad came unglued with the very first 50 grit. Thankfully I had a backer of my own. I did fourty feet of raw edging to a full polished glaze and these pads and they show very little signs of wear. With the proper grinder and patience a truely remarkable finnish can be obtained!!

These worked as advertised. There are best used with a buffer. Since they are 4 diameter, use with a drill is difficult to get even material removal and polishing.
