07-06-2025When I purchased these pads a month ago they only cost $11.99 plus shipping for a total of $16. and some change. Now there $38 plus shipping? Why the big cost jump? Well I found another set for 17.99 plus shipping on amazon so thats where Ill be buying my pads from now. Sorry tool trend but your cost hike lost you a retuning customer or should I say a not returning customer

> 3 dayMy boyfriend is in the process of making me a concrete top office desk and needed these to finish the job. These diamond polishing pads arrived quickly and worked as advertised. I didnt use them personally, but my boyfriend said that they were great. My office desk looks fabulous and the top was polished down to a point that it actually looks like granite now, not concrete. Its beautiful. Based on my boyfriends recommendation after using these, I would say this product is a great buy.

> 3 dayI love it?... well, sort of. They work and very well. I have a really nice new counter top with bullnosed and finely polished edges... thanks, in no small part, to these. Plus, 100sf of granite and they seem like new. The downside? Man that was ALOT of work and time. Still, I cant deduct because the finish was perfect.

> 3 dayOverall Im happy with the durability of these polishing pads, the shipping was really fast. However there needs to be an option to purchase a corser set like 30 grit, 50 grit, 100 grit, & 200 grit. We had to purchase lower grit pads from a different vendor to start polishing our concrete hearth pad. We never ended up using any of the pads finer than 200 grit.

> 3 dayThese pads were great! I had to polish several edges of 3cm granite for some bathroom vanity tops and they worked great. I assumed this kit was ready to mount on a drill but I soon realized it the foam pad doesnt have a mandrel. You need either a grinder/polisher or be sure to purchase the drill adapted when you buy the kit. I bought an angle grinder and a router speed controller (to slow the grinder down) for this project. Here are some tips I learned: 1. Make sure the pads are centered! Off-center pads cause uncomfortable tool vibration. 2. Take you time & be thorough. I realized after I installed the piece that I had missed a thin strip. Tough to see outside, but you can see the dull reflection under lighting. 3. Tape off work section. This helped me stay within the limits of the work area and ensure I was polishing the entire work area so I didnt miss anything. 4. Take a milk jug and poke a pin hole about 1 inch from the bottom. Fill with water. Direct the small stream of water onto the work area. Move jug as needed to keep area wet. Overall I was very happy and the pads still look brand new. Based on how often I will use them, they will probably last my lifetime. Most of my friends couldnt tell the factory edging from my work so I was happy about that!

02-06-2025These worked as advertised. There are best used with a buffer. Since they are 4 diameter, use with a drill is difficult to get even material removal and polishing.

> 3 dayI have used comparable products before and typically get very good wear out the pads using a wet polisher. These are the worst pads I have ever used. I am lucky I got the set with 2x 50, 100, and 200 but I will still need to order additional ones for this project. I am polishing a 12 square foot concrete counter top and used both 50 pads and Im not finished. I typically make more passes with this grit pad but was forced to go to the 100 because the pads wore out. I still have the edges to polish. I have also worn out one of the 100 pads on the top. I would typically be able to polish 3+ counter tops of this size with comparable pads. DO NOT BUY THESE PADS!!! I have never left a bad review as I am always generally happy with my purchases from Amazon. This is not one of them and would request my money back if I thought I would be able to get it returned. Again, these pads are horrible and do not buy them, purchase a different brand

> 3 dayThese worked great for the edges of our granite tile countertops. Bought a $40 angle grinder at Harbor Freight to use with them and they did the job for relatively cheap!
