> 3 daySoon after I ordered this product I got a friendly email from the seller indicating they would ship it right away and What you buy is 11+1 Pad, and you will get 13+1, since we have attached 1 more Grit 400 800 as EXTRA FREE GIFT to you. Nice of them and I appreciate the gift. Unfortunately, when I received the product and tried to use the 50 grit, the pad literally wore out in minutes. I had to switch back to the original (which I was going to throw away) just to finish the job. The original pads came with a SECCO WVPOLSET 4-Inch Variable Speed Wet Polisher Kit. The original 50 grit had at least 20 minutes of heavy use and lasted another 15 minutes. The new 50 grit pad was worn out in 5-10 minutes.

> 3 dayThese polishing pads are great for the price. No problem polishing granite both light color and dark. Had only one problem when I was polishing out in high temp and direct sun the glue on the velcro pad let go. The polishing pad and velcro flew of at high speed never to be found.

> 3 dayThese worked great. You have to have a variable speed polisher, not grinder. The people who said they come appart are using an angle grinder, not polisher. I bought one at harbor freight for $30. Very happy with the results.

Greater than one weekI used these pads for the edges of marble tile for my counter top. The grittier pads (50 100 400) worked well however the fine grit pads ( 800 and up) gummed up and left black residue on the tile and pads. I had to repeatedly stop and use wd-40 to clean the pads and marble from the black residue. Im not sure if this is caused by a high rpm grinder or the fact that I was working on an edge as opposed to a flat surface. But, the sheen on the edge of the tiles now match the factory surface, so Im happy with the final product but the pads need to be thrown out.

> 3 dayDiamond pads work great! Have not had a chance to use diamond bullnose. Very pleased with DeWalt Wer grinder,i do wish the easy connect came with a flexible hose to attach to garden hose, but went to my local plumbing store and got what I needed.

> 3 dayI used these with a Makita 4.5 variable speed angle grinder with great success on a piece of Stilestone quartz that I cut for a desktop. The manual cutting process with 6 diamond blade on an angle grinder left noticeable saw marks on all 4 sides of the slab. I started with the most coarse grit of this set and was easily able to not only knock back the sharp edges all around, but I was also able to remove the sawing marks. I used a steady and slow flow of water from a garden hose while polishing, and used scrap boards to help direct the water to the particular area where I was working. It took maybe 2 hours to polish all 4 sides and corners with the full stack of polishing disks. The result was a finish that was 99% as good as the factory finish of the quartz slab, and perfectly good for my project. I would easily buy these again and would also seek out an 8000 grit to see if it got me an even better shine.

> 3 dayWhen I purchased these pads a month ago they only cost $11.99 plus shipping for a total of $16. and some change. Now there $38 plus shipping? Why the big cost jump? Well I found another set for 17.99 plus shipping on amazon so thats where Ill be buying my pads from now. Sorry tool trend but your cost hike lost you a retuning customer or should I say a not returning customer

> 3 dayThis product worked great for me. I decided to try a do it yourself project to polish the ends of some scrap granite pieces in order to create some small tables for my patio recliners. After doing some research on how to do the work I found a reasonable priced polisher and these polishing pad and went to work. I used the dry method of polishing. The project came out great and Im very pleased with this product. Even though polishing granite is a pretty slow process and takes a fair amount of effort Im glad I found this product and tried it myself.

Greater than one weekI am installing granite tile in my kitchen. The edges need to be polished and it would have cost me $20 per edge to have it done. The tiles were only $4.00 each! So I looked on YouTube to see if I could polish them myself. It was recommended to get this set of polishing pads and a variable speed grinder. I ordered the Kawasaki grinder on Amazon, too. I clamped the tile onto my wood deck railing using the plastic ratchet clamps. Then I did as the video instructed, starting with the lowest number of polishing pad. I made 3 passes with each number of pad - and voila! The edge is just as smooth and shiny as the surface. The Velcro makes it fast and easy to change the pads and the grinder is easy to use. There is a lot of vibration, which shook me from head to toe, but not an unpleasant feeling. It is fun to do and very rewarding to see the results. The grinder and pads saved me a ton of money!
