> 24 hourWarning, do not use these pads on white or light colored stone, as they will burn and leave marks. I tried them wet and dry. I did find them to work just fine on darker stone. (Must have a variable speed grinder. Do not exceed recommended speed) Last substantially longer than PVA pads

> 24 hourI use these for polishing field stone, which is very hard on polishing pads. These held up much better than the ones previously used.

> 24 hourBought for smoothing out a DIY cast-in-place concrete countertop. Minor improvements in my countertop when used dry but adding a little water produced a remarkably different result and the pads showed the wear quickly. I have 48 sqft of countertop to grind down so it was wishful thinking to expect that I could get away with one set so Ive ordered another.

> 24 hourI have used comparable products before and typically get very good wear out the pads using a wet polisher. These are the worst pads I have ever used. I am lucky I got the set with 2x 50, 100, and 200 but I will still need to order additional ones for this project. I am polishing a 12 square foot concrete counter top and used both 50 pads and Im not finished. I typically make more passes with this grit pad but was forced to go to the 100 because the pads wore out. I still have the edges to polish. I have also worn out one of the 100 pads on the top. I would typically be able to polish 3+ counter tops of this size with comparable pads. DO NOT BUY THESE PADS!!! I have never left a bad review as I am always generally happy with my purchases from Amazon. This is not one of them and would request my money back if I thought I would be able to get it returned. Again, these pads are horrible and do not buy them, purchase a different brand

> 24 hourThe 100, 200, 400 worked great, I got out some bad scratches and etch marks out of marble. I don’t think the 800, 1000, or 3000 had any grit to them. They added very little to nothing for the effort, and didn’t give me the shine I was looking for. They didn’t create a slurry like the 100-400 did. I resurfaced a marble countertop, wet with a variable speed grinder at 2500 rpm. Maybe I did wrong but I ended up hiring a company to finish the job.

> 24 hourMake sure you use a low rpm angle grinder or polisher. With too high speeds these will overheat and burn the edge of the granite. Used properly the do an amazing job, and they do quickly. I am a first time granite polisher and polished the edges of probably 40 feet of granite tile. It took a little time because i had so much to do, but was actually pretty quick. It turned out beautiful and was relatively easy to do. My edge polish looks identical to the surface polish that came on the tiles. Beautiful.

> 24 hourGreat products last a long time. I just threw away my first 200 grit from this kit last month. Im a general contractor that specializes in tile work, and I often need to grind or polish edges and 200 grit is my default for non shiney surfaces. Last a long time! Much cheaper than the local guys.
