> 24 hourThese shims served their purpose. They were not the easiest to install and were difficult to get positioned. Once installed they did what they were supposed to do, which was to equal out the gap on each side between the door and the doorjamb.

> 24 hourThese are easy to use for hinge shims, no need to revive the hints, just loosen then one at a time and side in the shim. This is an easy solution to adjusting the alignment of a door on the frame.

> 24 hourWe just had double doors installed in our home, a complete rebuild including the frame. When the installation crew left, we noticed that the new doors didnt close properly. So a bit of research, brought us to the need for hinge shims. The E-Z shims were the perfect solution to make the minor corrections needed. At 1/16 thickness, they can be combined if needed. Very easy to install, and a value for the money spent. Couldnt find this product locally, but Amazon had them . Quick shipping too. These are made of a pvc material, but should last a lifetime.

> 24 hourNeeded to level out our front door so it didn’t hit the jamb on the bottom when being closed.

> 24 hourSo, mortising is a fine art that seemingly is lost. I keep some of these in my work truck at all times. We primarily do new construction and I’ve had several jobs where factory supplied doors had a door hinge mortise entirely too deep. These little things are a lifesaver! If you set and case doors, you should have some.

> 24 hourStill didn’t fix my door issues. Finally hired a professional and they took these out and just hammered in wooden shims to fix it.

> 24 hourThis product is a great idea. I showed it to my brother in law who is a carpenter. He was blown away with the simplicity of this and the low price. After installing behind the hinge you cant even see the shim. It was the perfect solution to align the inside front door so it would stay open. I only used one shim.
