This is exactly what I needed to correct my front door. Extremely easy to use and works as advertised... Would strongly recommend...

We have several sets of French doors across the back of our home and LOVE the indoor outdoor feel when they are all open. However, we have had issues with cold breezes blowing through the doors’ center gap in the winter months when the humidity goes down. These were an EASY FIX, and can be removed just as easy in the summer months when the humidity increases and the wood doors swell tight. So thankful we found this product! Huge energy savings compared to the low product cost and effort to add or remove.

Front door was not plumb and had a gap at the bottom of about 3/8ths of an inch. Three issues: 1) the existing screws would not be long enough to secure the door into the jamb, 2) the shims were not the same width as the hinge, so there would be a rocker effect as the door opened and closed, 3) a 3/8 inch shim at the hinge side would be pretty ugly. So I will probably cut a tapered piece of wood to put on the jamb on the opposite side. Note these would probably work well for a smaller gap, however hinge screws are set into the jamb and shimming a hinge even 1/16th of an inch prevents the existing screws from setting as deep. There are 2.5/3 inch screws available specifically for this purpose.

Bought this to align my hinges and fix a sagging door (after I replaced the hinges). Shims snap off from the pack. Loosen your hinge screws maybe half way and slide the shim in. You do not need to remove the screws. If I had a suggestion, I wish that some of them were in half thickness but the ones they sent worked for me.

I just used these on one side of my French Doors on a house I bought. The gap between the doors now is so close it made my lock function much better and the doors are now more secure. The (new) weatherstripping works better also... well the one between the doors does. Between the door and the wall now there is a gap because the weatherstripping there is painted over and brittle. Once I replace that I will have a perfect seal thanks to these hinges. Saved me from replacing the whole astragal. I didnt realize 5 sheets of shims came in a pack, so I bought too many. Still the results are so good and fast that they are worthy of 5 stars.

They do the job, could be better, and there just plastic. If you have time to wait for metal ones with the supply chain issues I would, if not these will still cure your immediate problem.

Had the front door to beach cottage changed. The door had un-even gaps (closer to frame on right side but large gaps on top left and left side). The door would not shut without engaging the deadbolt by force. The installer said that it was normal after over $500 install charge. Placing two of this shims by loosening hinges on right bottom and one in middle hinge fixed the issue

These shims worked well for me but it is first important to understand where to properly place door hinge shims. Depending on the problem you are trying to solve, in some cases a shim should be placed under either the barrel side of the hinge or under the opposite side. Also, hinge shims may need to be placed under all of the hinges or only need to be placed under one hinge. I also had to trim one of the shims (which was easily done) due to the shape of my hinges. The information that was included with the shims did not cover any of this but there is good information available on-line regarding door shimming.
