Eapele Heavy Bag Hangers Brackets for Wood Beam 360° Swivel

This bracket is very secure and holds my 40 pound bag like it was nothing. I hung this in my basement and when the kids pound on it the floor upstairs doesnt shake at all. It was easy to install and the included screws are a good sturdy size. Drill pilot holes first to avoid splitting the wood though. Great product.

Added a 2x4 to make it across a few beams but the anchor is amazing and pivots with my bag. Makes it fun to be in garage again!

The unit itself seems solid enough. I marked off two stars because what was supposed to be two days shipping turned out to be eleven days and one of the screws was missing from the package.

No compaints at all. Easily hung up my sons 70lb heavy bag, with no problems.

I strengthened my floor joist by screwing an 8 foot 2x6 on each side, just for the peace of mind. I bumped into some wires running through where I wanted my 2x6 to be so I used a 1 and 1/4 inch spade bit to make appropriate openings on both boards (as shown in photos). Confident that I have enough support to hold up a heavy bag, I went ahead and installed my Eapele hanger bracket. I kid you not, this install takes 5 minutes. I simply held the bracket up to my desired location and marked out the holes with a sharpie. I drilled a 2-inch deep pilot hole using a 5/16 drill bit. I marked on the bit, two inches from the tip, with a marker. Using a 17 mm socket to secure the bracket in place, the installation is complete. That is really all it takes. The swivel component works perfectly and the bracket itself makes little to no noise. The carabiner that comes with the bracket is well built and will do the trick. I attached a Meister Heavy Bag Spring, and my Everlast Nevatear Boxing 100-lb Heavy Bag was ready to be hooked up. I decided to test the waters by hopping on and clinging to the bag (Dont try at home)! This bracket is durable enough to withstand my 200-pound body hanging onto a 100-pound punching bag with ease. 5 stars from me.
