> 3 dayAwesome Speaker! I decided to upgrade my setup from a soundbar and a great decision it was. Paired with a Marantz receiver with only 50 w/channel, I can already notice a significant difference in quality of the audio. Great choice! And it was only $206 at purchase direct from Amazon! Still breaking in, but cant wait until it is. I am running only a 2.0 home theater system so these are the system as of now. Definitely has a particular sound profile as some are saying warm for ELACs, but bass is good enough in a small living room area that am still debating a separate sub (neighbors). Build quality is really solid and packaging by Amazon was reassuring. Came to me without so much as a particle of dust. Would highly recommend for smaller spaces, apartments, or starter speakers.

> 3 dayCrisp, clear sound. I’m not a huge “audiophile”—but I like these! I replaced an older pair of Polk Audio floor speakers, and I like these better. I can’t talk in terms of ohms and distortion and dBs; but I like how crisp these are for the midrange and high, without sounding “thin”. The lower end seems full but not “boomy” or hollow. They’re tight. Very true to life for my ear.

Greater than one weekHonestly, I was quite surprised when I fired these up, considering all of the glowing reviews. I found a speaker that was overly bright and somewhat edgy. I own NHT SuperZeros and Sonos Ones and the Elacs were just too hot for me. I can’t figure it out. Maybe it’s because the iPod Generation has damaged their ears with earbuds and the rest are just older like myself and lost their high frequency hearing. I know my hearing has suffered and yet I still find the b5.2s a bit glaring. It’s not awful, mind you. If I turn down the treble about 5dB, they work fine, but I shouldn’t have to engage the tone controls at all. I prefer to bypass them. It’s not good when an audiophile speaker is brighter sounding than a Sonos One. In case anyone is interested, I’ve owned the KLH 6, Magnepan MG1s, stacked Advents and the original Cambridge Soundworks Ensemble. I’ve also listened to everything from the Rogers LS to Klipschorns (both of which I love). I like my NHTs, but am looking for something a bit more extended in high frequency, but the Debut 2.0s are just too much in that way. They measure dead flat for the most part, but that is not what most people actually want. Most folks prefer a gentle roll off above 10kHz. Flat is not neutral when it comes to speakers. Flat is too bright.

> 3 dayThe sound quality is incredible with a perfect balance of highs, lows and base. The speakers work fantastic when listening to LP’s. The sound from the speakers fill a large open townhouse with warmth and clarity.

> 3 dayThese speakers leave little to be desired. Incredibly balanced and easy to listen to. I paired these with an Emotiva TA-100 (50 watts per channel at 8 ohms/ 90 watts per channel at 4 ohms) and it had absolutely no problem driving them. I got these primarily to listen to my recordings after final mixing with reference monitors and headphones, and the detail these offer is incredibly for the price. Im hearing details in the tracks that I couldnt even hear with my Sennheiser hd650s. I got these on a whim just based on a few youtube reviews claiming they hit above their weight class - and they were way underselling these. In the past few weeks Ive found myself listening to these more than my Klipsch Heresy 3s with a Premaluna DiaLogue Premium Integrated. These obviously dont compare to to a nearly $6k speaker/amp combo, but they are just fun to listen to and offer an incredibly easy listening experience.

Greater than one weekThe sound is full, crisp and really astonishing! I’ve had Klipsch Heresys, JBL studios, and any number of other speakers, but these little speakers are fun and my favorites, so far.
