> 3 dayWe have been using this product for several years. It works as expected. It is kind of expensive.

> 3 dayNothing wrong with the outlets, but unlike the picture on the box, it actually does not include the white faceplate so if you are replacing traditional outlets, plan to head to the hardware store for faceplates. They should be about $1each so I recommend not getting them from amazon

Greater than one weekThe relay fails after 12 to 18 months resulting in a constant loud clicking and power being momentarily turned on/off to anything plugged in. It is bad enough that it fails, but there is a constant loud clicking noise unless you turn the power off to the circuit. I purchased two and this is the second one to fail. It is unfortunate as I was happy with these until they prematurely failed. It is ridiculous that when they do fail it results in a load clicking noise until you can replace it or cut the power to the circuit. This is so irritating; a recall should be issued by the manufacturer.

> 3 daySomewhat difficult to follow the included instructions. The diagrams are accurate but the wording is vague. Make sure to get the add-on switch if you are doing it as a three way and read it carefully so that you don’t connect wrong and ruin the switch.

> 3 dayGE Enbrighten products are solid and reliable. I enjoy the durability and solid performance. They do what they should and what they claim. GE has both Zigbee and Z-wave versions. I have both and can recommend both. Whichever platform you prefer, these provide great service. I marked the easy installation as a 4 simply because you do need to understand something about home wiring. The install is easy and straightforward, provided you are familiar and comfortable working with voltages that can be dangerous if not respected. The product is great, install and connection straightforward. GE is my first go to for such devices.

> 3 dayI have multiple of these units installed in my house; installed them myself. Theyve been working fine for just under 4 years. This past week, on Thursday, I had 2 of them fail the exact same way; blinking blue light of death. There was no power issue as nothing else in the home, including many sensitive electronics, never lost internet, battery backups never clicked, etc. They both randomly died on the exact same day. If you look this up, even in Amazon reviews, youll find this to be very, VERY common. Looks like I have to buy a bunch of z-wave outlets from another manufacturer. Update March 2022: Another died, thats 3 in a span of 6 months or 75%. I went ahead and pulled the last one as well since Im well aware its going to die by the end of the year.

> 3 dayI have had nothing but trouble with these Jasco/GE Switches and Receptacles. The biggest issue is that I just had 3 receptacles fail in under a year of use. The outlets work, but the Z-wave repeater/emitter has stopped working. Also had one Decora style toggle switch fail last year. Along with failures, I have one switch that worked fine, then all of a sudden the top of the switch if off, and the bottom is on. A big disappointment is with the Smartthings hub where EVERY device had its LED light feature switched all at once. I used to have them all to read LED ON when off, now they are all LED ON when on. Z-wave has been around for quite a few years and issues should have been resolved with high rate of failures.

> 3 dayI own so I like to hard wire as many of my Z-Wave devices as I can. These plugs are easy to install in most electrical boxes, they take up more room than a normal outlet but still fit easily. If you have a shallow box they may not fit, but I haven’t tried that. The switch works great and no issues with the regular outlet.
