> 3 dayHad little trouble paring this to my system...apparently I had a gap in my wireless web. Once I got it paired, it has worked flawlessly over the past several months.

> 3 dayThis is zwave outlet #8 in my house. These GE/Enbright ones are great to use with my SmartThings hub. They install easily, and pair quickly with the Samsung app. The outlet is deeper than others, so you need to make sure you have plenty of room in your outlet box to house it.

> 3 dayI have gotten into Smart Technology early on and have been fortunate to try many different switching devices. These GE products have always been/are the closest to what you are replacing, come with White and Almond decorative covers. They connect easily, are reliable and you can get them at Lowes AND Amazon close y to the same price now. Sometimes a bit cheaper on Amazon.. I use with Samsung Smarthings Hub and Echo (for voice control)....

> 3 dayGE Enbrighten products are solid and reliable. I enjoy the durability and solid performance. They do what they should and what they claim. GE has both Zigbee and Z-wave versions. I have both and can recommend both. Whichever platform you prefer, these provide great service. I marked the easy installation as a 4 simply because you do need to understand something about home wiring. The install is easy and straightforward, provided you are familiar and comfortable working with voltages that can be dangerous if not respected. The product is great, install and connection straightforward. GE is my first go to for such devices.

> 3 dayyou will want to make sure that the main Z-way hub is in range for the initial config. I would say have your electrician set up a test rig so you can configure the z-wave. You may not be able to join it to the network otherwise. I had a long ethernet cable so I ran it two the outlet temporally

> 3 dayHad this to control some household lighting and it worked great. (Purchased June 2018). Today, I turned off breaker to do maintenance on circuit, turned back on - blue LED indicator now blinks once / second. Ive attempted to reset without success. Disappointed that it didnt last very long.

> 3 dayYou will need to “backstab” the ground meaning straighten your ground wire, then nsert into the provided hole next to the green screw—then tighten the screw down. Tech support never suggested this which was really bizarre considering I spoke with four different reps, YES FOUR! Conncecting to SmartThings was seamless, however connecting to Alexa was a nightmare. I tried everything then the next day it connected on my first try. Installed on kitchen counter as “coffee pot”—“Alexa turn coffee pot on”. I finally ditched the drip coffee makers and purchased an electric percolator which by design turns on when you plug it in. This switch allows for Alexa control so no matter what time a get up I just ask her nicely to make my coffee. Note: Fresh perc coffee smells fantastic in the kitchen and tastes better.

> 3 dayWorks as advertised, aesthetics are good, easy to add to the mesh. The only problem with this is that it doesnt have back-wiring, its the push-in wiring type that doesnt securely hold the wires. Residential grade.

> 3 dayConnected right up with my SmartThings hub and has been working great. The only thing I dont like is that this is a TR receptacle which Im not a big fan of because of the difficulty in plugging things in.
