> 3 dayStrangely, I have to turn these on , then off, then on again in order for them to turn on power. They incorrectly show power on the first time. This leaves me with low confidence for remote operation. They were easy to install and integrate with my Ring Alarm system (z-wave), but don’t give me the accurate status or confidence.

> 3 dayThe unit lasted for 4 years, then suddenly stopped working. The z-wave functionality was gone, and the z-wave controlled bottom outlet no longer worked at all. Interestingly enough, all of my older units from the same company(before z-wave plus - GE 45605) are still going strong.

Greater than one weekI expected the center button to be able to enable/disable it. Nope. Edit 1-Oct: After the seller said it should and must be faulty, I gave it a good whack before having to remove it. Sure enough the thing started working correctly. It leaves the quality in question a little, so I wont give it 5 stars. In the end it is working and added to Smartthings easily.

> 3 dayI’ve ordered this 4 times. 3 of them have been bad from day 1 of install. Unfortunately this is in a spot that is hard to access so replacing it is hard and I’ve often let it sit on the shelf for too long and then can’t even return under Amazons return policy. Total garbage.

Greater than one weekThis is my first z-wave device. I just set up a Home Assistant server with a Zooz 700 Z-wave USB Stick. I chose add a device in the JS Z-wave integration on HA, pushed the button on the front of this smart outlet, and it found it right away. It installed fine, did a firmware update, and was good to go. Im using this to control a lamp in a room without any switches (we live in an old house...) I then set automations in HA to control it with a Zooz remote switch. It was a bit of a learning experience for me but i was able to figure it out without too much trouble. Im overall very happy with this outlet. I knocked one star off because the outlet just barely fit in the electrical box, it was a challenge to get it in there.

16-11-2024The plug lasted under 4 years. It is now making a loud constant clicking sound and is not functional at all. Not able to be reset either.

> 3 dayNothing wrong with the outlets, but unlike the picture on the box, it actually does not include the white faceplate so if you are replacing traditional outlets, plan to head to the hardware store for faceplates. They should be about $1each so I recommend not getting them from amazon

> 3 dayThis is the second weatherproof plus smart receptacle that Ive purchased. Both were easy to program and install. I have both of them installed in the backyard, controlling a fountain and lighting. Both receptacles are about 30-50 feet outside my home and easily connect to my security panel located within the residence. When you consider the saved time and expense of no longer having to install a switch, these are well worth it!

Greater than one weekPlaced this near SmartThings hub. Install is very easy. Before it died (at about year 3) it worked most of time time. Periodically it would not sync properly with my hub and would seem to go missing. Factory reset and rejoining to hub would fix that issue. I will no longer deploy in-wall smart outlets, Id rather just use the more reliable and cheaper smart plugs that seem to be very reliable.
