I love these coolers, love the trays you can add its my construction purse. Other then the insulation seems to be getting lower quality, I still love these coolers.

I needed a good overnight cooler to hold a few drinks, bait for fishing, snacks and this cooler performed great! Its light weight, strudy enough to hike down a small cliff area and holds the ice to the next day.

Fantastic lunch box, cooler, keeps my drinks ice cold all day long with my ice pack, nice and deep so I can pack a full lunch and extra. I work in very hot places and it sits in the sun most of the day and the heat never reaches the goods inside. Nice a durable thick plastic material. The only con to this cooler is that the hinges are made of plastic and probably wont last a few years. But thats why we have hardware stores. Over all its a great every day lunch box. Just dont sit on it. And if you have an old play mate igloo lunch box that has a removable tray, itll fit right inside this lunch box next to the tray that comes with it.

It’s hard to find a lunch pail that has a tray in it to hold misc items that you don’t want in your pocket all day. This for me was one of the biggest reasons I went with this Pail, but it does a good job at keeping the contents cool also. I work 10-12 hr shifts and I still have a cold water for the ride home!

I purchased this cooler to keep things cold for a few hours while traveling, but I was pleasantly surprised by how long it it retained ice. I tried it for the first time on a day when the high was just over 90 degrees. I loaded it with a chilled twelve pack. Unfortunately, the ice I bought that day had just been bagged and placed in a freezer, so it was wet and melting quickly on the short ride home. There was already a significant amount of water in the ice bag when I poured the ice in the cooler, so I figured it wouldnt last more than 6 or 8 hours even though it was in the shade. However, after opening and closing the cooler throughout the afternoon as well as a few times the next morning to see if it was still cold, it still had ice in it after 17 hours. With colder ice, I have no doubt the ice would have lasted close to 24 hours. If youre thinking this will hold ice as long as a Yeti 20-quart, it wont. This is a 5.5-pound cooler vs the Yeti that weighs in at about 15 pounds. Yeti designs their cooler to do one thing; hold ice for as long as possible. The Engel 19-quart is designed to be compact, lightweight and retain ice for a reasonable amount of time -- all of which were considerations for me. So, if you need your ice to last for days, buy a heavy-duty, roto-molded model. If you need a small, lightweight, high-quality cooler for day-use, this is the cooler for you.

Solidly built but, in China. Also the strap is just a little short for me. Great as a lunch box as I carry a sealed container to hold pens, pencils, and a bunch felt markers. A time book, aspirin, tums and a phone charger. Which measures approximately 3 × 7 and 6 tall. Really like the stainless locks.

Cooler is very nice & well worth the money. My husband has only been using it a few days as a lunch bucket for work but so far he is happy. Roomy inside big enough to hold a 12 hour shifts worth of drinks & snacks. He works in the mines in sometimes wet conditions & was impressed that no water leaks in. The cooler is heavy enough to feel solid but not as heavy as I expected & thats a good thing. Latches & hinges are replaceable which helps to alliviate any concerns about wear and tear. Ill update later on durability if we have any issues.
