I was looking to replace my everyday use, 8 year old Igloo cooler with one that was just as good or better than the igloo, a locking top was a must, this cooler fit the bill, about the same size as the $25.00 igloo, I have filled the Igloo cooler with the same drinks, lunch and snacks for over 8 years, this Engel cooler melts the ice in half the time, my gauge is, I use 6 trays of ice and the same amount and temp of drinks and half way through the day the ice melted, the Igloo lasted until I arrived home, some 4 hours later, I was surprised and disappointed.

Its nice and durable but it cant hold ice for longer then 8 hours. I live in las vegas and its in the cab of my truck with the a/c and i melts pretty fast. Ive seen reviews that says 5 days, Diffently not this cooler. I do like it but not for a camping cooler. Update Ive had it now for almost 2 months and like it more now then ever. Ice melts but the water and bits of ice keep old for almost 2 days. Some times I use it as a step stool it hold me great 225lbs. Oh and i forgot the handle and latches are very strong and sturdy Update had it 2 years and Ive used it for everything now its starting to crack where the handle attaches but WELL WORTH THE MONEY keeps everything cold In Las Vegas for 2 days in 120° plus.

The size and appearance and ability to keep ice in perfect condition for 24 hours or more was more than I expected.

I like everything about this box, holds ice pack frozen all day, stainless latches, but plastic hinges showing white stress marks. Still holding up but will eventually break.

Good cooler looks great with all the ibew stickers I got on it . Sucks it is made over seas for the price tho.

I really like this cooler, Ive been taking it to work 5 days a week for about 7 weeks now and I sit on it all the time. Its very sturdy and well built I only knocked it a star because I think the handle could be more comfortable. It kept things really cold all day on very hot days and ice packs were still icy when I forgot the cooler in the truck overnight a couple of times. It also came with a bunch of swag like the large sticker in the picture and contact brochures for parts like rod holders, stainless hinges(my next upgrade), seat pads, and more carry strap options. Its cool people and it dont set you back what a Yeti will.

Nice quality

The cooler itself is wonderful! It did have a couple dings and scratches. I’m assuming from when it was being shipped. Overall I was satisfied.
