> 3 dayBought for my boyfriend who is an iron worker. He works 12 hour days at different types of job sites, indoor/outdoor. He LOVES it!! It is large enough to pack plenty of food and snacks for his shifts and still has room to put other things he doesnt want to keep in his pockets or had no place for before; he says its perfect size, not too big and not too small. He loves the strap to carry it and it is very durable and very easy to clean. Highly recommended!

> 3 dayHusband uses for work as he goes thru alot of water a day ( 8 bottles) since he works outside and needs to keep dehydrated. Plus he brings his lunch and snacks. This holds it all and keeps everything cold all day, in 100 degree heat!!

> 3 dayIf you just plan to use this on a day trip, or will have access to someplace you can buy ice regularly while out this is great. It just doesnt hold ice for that long. After about 24 hours outside 3/4 of the ice was melted. Was hoping it would be better than that.

Greater than one weekGreat box with exception of lid and hinges being not strong enough to support you sitting on it at lunch break.

> 3 dayNice lunchbox. Like the fact that there is replacement hinges and latches. Did happen to drop a drill on the lid and crack it. Overall happy with it

Greater than one weekThis cooler doubles as a dry box so keep that in mind. If you’re wanting to maximize insulation and ice longevity this may not be you best choice. I did a test with a similar sized Igloo brand (16qt) with this Engel (19qt). The Igloo is about half the cost. The Igloo has thicker sides and this a bit more insulation. In three different test using frozen water bottles of the same capacity, the bottles in the Engel fully thawed before the bottles in the Igloo. Same environment and temperatures with coolers side by side. It wasn’t dramatic, just the bottles in the Igloo had some ice left 1-3 hours after the bottles in the Engel were fully thawed. That was a little disappointing. Having said that, the frozen bottles in both lasted almost 36 hours and I expect the cooler filled with ice would hold longer than a couple loose frozen bottles with all the space around them. I’m going to keep the cooler because it is well made and I can use it for a dry box. I bought it for day trips in my small boat so it will work well for that. Would also be great for day trips to the beach, overnight trips, picnics etc when you don’t want to lug a large heavy cooler. But if that’s all you need and if you just want a cooler, save some money and get a much cheaper Igloo 16qt. as you gain nothing and lose something buying the Engel including twice the cost. I gave four stars for well built.

> 3 dayThe cooler is a good size for me to pack a days worth of food and drinks into for a days work. I really was disappointed to see the sticker made in Taiwan on back .Also the front front latches are good stainless the back hinges are cheap plastic they should be stainless steel also. The exterior of the cooler seems hard plastic that I am afraid after sometime of being in the sun this plastic will positively get weak and Crack or break easily. It has a 5 year warranty but I have only used this cooler 2 actual working days and the warmer of the two days the outside of the cooler was sweating. For the price you really cant go wrong just dont expect it to compare to a 100dollar cooler because it will not.

> 3 dayMy mother-in-law bought this for my husband and he’s very happy. It’s very sturdy and easy to clean. It’s large enough to fit Tupperware glass dishes and a small chunk of water.
