> 3 dayGreat product! It was relatively easy to install. If you arent handy with technology you may find installation a bit difficult. I love how easy it is to arm and disarm with my phone.

Greater than one weekVery easy to install - the mounting holes and provided plastic standoffs even match the existing holes in my DSC Alarm System case and there was an existing hole in the case immediately above the Ethernet connector on the Envisalink board that allowed the Ethernet cable to be routed straight into the case and plugged into the board. I just mounted and wired it per the instruction sheet and reconnected the AC power and battery and it immediately started working. The short story is that it’s a great product. The only downside is that the IOS Ap looks like it was made for an IPhone 1. I don’t understand why they haven’t updated the Ap to keep up with the the improvements in phone technology. The Ap seems to work fine. It’s just the appearance that’s deficient. To get the most out of the Envisalink you’ll need to go to their web portal and sign in to your account to define the names of each zone in in your alarm system in order to see the “plain English” definitions of your alarm zones on your phone or tablet. Otherwise, you’ll just see “Zone 1, Zone 2” etc. Overall, I recommend this product to anyone wishing to upgrade their DSC alarm system.

> 3 dayFirst off, in terms of installing this and getting it set up with my existing Honeywell alarm I couldnt be happier. Its very easy to follow the instructions and get that working. My main concern with this and reason for 3 stars is the lack of software support. Their website where you control the device is very dated and the app that youre meant to use on your phone hasnt had an update in 5 years. Even then, it basically just opens their website inside the app. The app seems to update zone and alarm status on a delayed timer and theres no indication that alarm commands went through until that occasional refresh. That being said for people interested in automations this does integrate well with Hubitat systems and once set up there is a lot of flexibility. All the alarm sensors/door contacts statuses can be seen and update quickly, allowing for automations based off motion sensors and doors opening etc. It can be set up in Google Home as well with Hubitat to report arm status and also arm/disarm. But this took a lot of extra work.

Greater than one weekThis little device is great! The setup process is a little involved, but very doable by those technically inclined. The features available with only the free account is amazingly generous. I am getting alerts and controlling my multi-partition alarm system from my computer and my smartphone and it doesnt cost a dime more than the cost of the hardware! My old monitoring service provided no remote control capability at all and now I pay nothing and have way more functionality! I like it! Ill probably spring for the $8.99/month professional monitoring since it is still way cheaper than I was paying and will protect my home when Im not available to call the police myself (movies, airplanes, poor cell reception, etc.) Thanks EyezOn for a great product filling a real need!

> 3 dayPurchased about a year ago, it has been working flawlessly and it has already payed for itself. Being able to monitor your panel remotely with no monthly charge was one of the requirements for choosing a panel initially. I recently had a configuration issue with my panel, Eyezon has a ticketing system, so I sent a ticket in. Within a hour or two they had the configuration changes required which fixed the issue. I am still in awe of the amazing value, you use their infrastructure, and they offer support and firmware upgrades, and all you pay is a one time hardware fee.

> 3 dayI’ve been using an Envisalink in 4 of my homes. Just ordered another to install in a vacation home. These are great devices to access your alarm remotely and receive free text messages. I have mine set to text me whenever alarm is armed, disarmed or any time alarm is tripped. At night when in bed and I forgot tonarm I just reach for my iPhone on my nightstand and arm it with my phone. Installation in DSC systems are most simple since no system programming is needed. I’ve installed all mine on Honeywell Vista 20P systems which takes a bit of knowledge to program the alarm panel. There are several excellent Youtube videos on programming a Vista panel that you should review.
