EyezOn Envisalink EVL-4EZR IP Security Interface Module for DSC and Honeywell (Ademco) Security Systems, Compatible with Alexa

So I always have doubts about OEM boards such as these and whether they will work but it is absolutely perfect for an old DSC security system that has been brought into the modern age for $100. It works completely as advertised. Extremely easy to install and configure. My DSC system is circa 1991, with an upgrade in 2008 with a new control that allowed for RF sensors. Still it was standalone, and I had done away with my home phone line and had no way to monitor when it went off other than the neighbors letting us know. Now, with simple Apps we get text alerts and know exactly whats been tripped right away. No issues at all with this board.

Have an older DSC 1632 system but its covering everything windows doors garage 2 buildings, you name it, it would be $ to upgrade. Didnt want to upgrade it due to how much and if it aint broke why replace it, this took 5 minutes to install, very easy to figure out and receive alerts on my phone. It basically wires into the keypad bus and sends the signals to eyezon, which then alerts your phone. You will need envisalink plus if you want to monitor open/close of more than 1 zone but basic arm/disarm, lost connectivity,etc work fine. + is small price to pay really for some extra convivence (zone labeling,etc)

Search for third party phone apps, as the website and linking that Eyezon tells you to use is plain lousy.

The Eyez-On card integrates with the Honeywell security panel and the application works via the Internet.

When everyone at ATD told me it was not possible to use my Vista system via my iPhone this was the solutions. Great product

Supposedly designed to fit Vista 20 panels - it does not. You cannot mount it in the box without drilling holes and trying to find small enough mounting screws to not damage the board but still mount it.

I’ve been using Envisalink for 5 years. These devices are durable, trouble free and long lasting. Installation is straight forward like wiring in a keypad. I’d recommend adding this to your alarm panel to easily control your alarm from your phone and get alerts when alarm triggering events happen.

This thing is awesome. At my alarm companys remote monitoring service prices, it will pay for itself in 6 months. Straightforward install.

This thing is great. I had a few false alarms and would have to drive back to reset. Not with this card. I can control the alarm easily from my phone. Easy to install and set up. Buy it.
