Ive got an old DSC Power 832 system in my house that Ive been tinkering with for many years. This little gem is a great edition to bring it up into the IoT area. The web service is a little clunky but I like the functionality that it delivers. 5 stars for giving me remote access to my security system. Heck I can even bypass any zones that keep the system from arming and arm it remotely (Like when the kids dont set the alarm when they are the last ones to leave).

I had an Ademco 20P panel in a house I had built in 1999 with ADT installation that included multiple zones and sensors. Going into retirement, I wanted to cut expenses and expand the functionality so I could monitor it myself, control it remotely, and move over to a new monitoring group. Installation took about a day, being very careful to label all the wires, and taking time to correctly run an ethernet cable from the panel to the WiFi AP/router. It required some reprogramming to make it work, and in this the EVL-4 instructions were a bit inadequate, but I finally worked my way through what they meant after a call to support. Hopefully EyezOn is an honest group. The information they get on all sensor triggers and arming/disarming, and having the ability to remotely disarm without my knowledge (or not notify me of events if they chose) is disconcerting. But I realized that I could use a new monitoring system on the old phone modem and use the EVL-4 for self-monitoring and control, and that would prevent them from arming or disarming without my knowledge. The app is a little under-powered, but adequate. I hope they will expand both it and the card capabilities to permit more transparent control and more nuanced reporting selections. Updated 17 Jul 2021: EyezOn decided that too many alerts were being sent from the system, and deleted the account user I had set up to monitor it, without telling me. So for several months alerts werent going where they should have been. So be aware, you have to watch out for changes in policy, or decisions that your activity is excessive, if you are counting on this module to watch your home for you.

This is an excellent product. It was easily installed in my Honeywell/Ademco alarm system. The reviews convinced me to try it and it works even better than I had hoped.

I install/service/inspect fire/security systems and was looking for a self-monitoring solution for my Vista 21IP panel I have installed at home. This module was not only easy to install but the app works well on my android phone.

Great product. Had to replace one (VM101 from MyVirtualMonitoring, who mysteriously went out of business without a word) and this ones set up and features are easy and great! I get a text on my phone when the alarm is set, disarmed or network trouble. No intruders yet, but I a sure Ill get a text if the alarm actually goes off!!!

This was the greatest addition to my DSC alarm system. Has iOS and Android app which works perfectly to bypass, arm, disarm and monitor alarm status. Would recommend highly.
