FakeTV FTV-11 Extra Bright Burglar Deterrent Television Simulator

I had my brother order this for me as I will be travelling soon. Just got it to my home and plugged it in and....nothing....absolutely nothing. Its busted, but I cant return it now as Im flying off soon and dont have the time to send it back to my brother to exchange it. Sucks.

I have not had the opportunity a of now to really set the unit up so I cannot give a fair evaluation. I do like the compact size and the styling of the unit and the preset operational times.

It works - I have had neighbors go by my house and see the fake tv and they have called me to tell me that someone is in my house watching TV or that I left my tv on knowing that we are gone. Works well

Item arrived on time and in good working order. I like it very much...it works just as advertised. My friends now think Ive become a TV addict. *smile*

If youre looking for something more then just a timer for lights when youre out of the house, then this is it. This small led light panel has different color LEDs to simulate what a room lit up by a TV would look like. It was very bright and actually a bit too bright. When compared to my led TV it was much brighter and even with the random led color changes I thought it was too bright compared to a normal TV show. But with that said it works great. It will sense light in the room and wont turn on till the room is dark.

We use this product any time we will be gone for at least 1 day. It gives the impression that someone is watching TV inside our bedroom, so I feel better about having this gadget on while we are gone.

This works like a charm, very realistic from outside looking in through cellular blinds. I ran a news/elevator music channel on the radio on a timer that worked along side the FakeTV, and I made sure the volume was just a little more than a muffle outside. I also ran lamp timers in 5 other places in our home and bright LED sensor alarms purchased from Amazon at every door of our home and felt safe to travel for 2 months.
