> 3 dayThe unit is very small, easy to setup. Bright as a real 40+inch TV. It was set up using a basic timer. The unit itself can also be triggered by dusk sensor + hours operate. I placed it up against a closed window blind and it is very visible from the street.

> 3 dayI tested this FakeTV behind closed wooden blinds and found that if you view the effects from the outside during total darkness, it does exactly what it is supposed to do. Be sure to point it toward the window coverings. Easy to operate. Simple gadget. Great idea.

The FTV-11 is 3 times brighter than our models FTV-10 and FTV-7. Use it in larger rooms or when FakeTV needs to be further from the window. FakeTV uses super bright LED"s that will last for a long time. If you use your FakeTV every night, the LED"s will last for 20 years.
Easy to Use
Using FakeTV couldn"t be simpler-- plug in the device and set the switch to Dusk + 4 or 7 hours. The FakeTV will turn on at night, every night! No WiFi to setup, no clock to set, no app to download, and no software updates.
Alternatively, the FakeTV can be used with a simple lamp timer and set to times you want it to be on. Simply, plug the FakeTV into the lamp timer, set the lamp timer, and set the FakeTV switch to ON.
Appear home with FakeTV
FakeTV is an excellent DIY security solution. There is nothing to install-- no drilling or wiring needed. It works great in conjunction with a whole home security system. Whole home security systems are great, we use them ourselves, but they don"t prevent the smash and grab type break-ins where the burglar is in and out before the police are even notified.
