FakeTV FTV-11 Extra Bright Burglar Deterrent Television Simulator

This thing is still working years after purchasing. It gives peace of mind when we travel.

It does look like a TV from outside and the dusk to dawn setting is sensitive enough that it comes on after a couple minutes after shutting lights out. I imagine burglar crews are aware of these and know what to look for but it might deter the random passerby with bad intentions.

wow what a awesome idea i travel often and i was always worried about just using timers for the lights, i came across fake tv i figure i give it a try the night before i left for vacation walk outside the house and it does resemble the tv, got a call from my neighbor asking why i didnt answer his call or the door he knew i was home watching tv. it work s great am getting another one for my bedroom, the i love you place to order one is thru amazon

These are great burglar deterrents! Looks just like someone is watching television. The extra bright feature of this latest model is also great. I have mine on a timer so that every time we go on a road trip I just turn on my timer and it does its job.

Works ok. but, doesnt seem too realistic.

This works so well that, when my husband and I returned from a long trip, a friend who had been watching our house placed one of these inside for us (without us knowing), and we were scared -- honestly thought someone may have broken in; that there was definitely someone inside our house!

I recently rented an apartment that is on the ground floor so I was very worried about possible break-ins. This item got so many good reviews that I decided to take a chance on it. Boy, am I glad I did! I put the Fake TV facing my blinds and went outside and I was completely blown away at how real it looks.
