> 3 dayWe bought this to use when we are traveling which is what it is for and it works. We plug it in to come on at dusk and stay on for four hours. I will put it on a timer though so it will turn on and off at different times. I was surprised when it does come on at dusk, you can still turn a room light on and it wont shut off. That way we can use our timers for our lamps too. Its hard to review a product that works by making your home looked lived in. How do you know its working until youve gone years without a break-in? It turns on and off as expected so I guess thats the main thing. Im glad we got the new one as its pretty bright. We point it toward the window instead of directly on the blinds. That works and looks great from the outside.

> 3 dayLove this item as it not only does what a regular tv would show at night, but the fact that it has a timer so it is regulated by whatever hours one would normally watch television. The smaller version would probably look fine too, as this one tends to create quite a light show and the smaller one would have done the job just as well.

> 3 dayI was a little unsure of the claims and wondered if this was just another junk item. I opened the box and was not impressed - it seemed very small. However, I turned the item on at our vacation house and it worked perfectly. It came on after dusk and stayed on for the preset time. It looked exactly like a TV in the living room was on. I went outside to view the house and it was identical to the real TV being on. The small size is an added bonus, it sits to the side of the TV and you dont even notice it. Worth every penny. Add a radio and a light upstairs on a timer for some background noise and it is very convincing.

Greater than one weekIts cute. Works as intended. I personally believe it does look like actual tv is on. However I found its better to plug it into another timer where you have more control over on/off times. Its alittle difficult to find good placement so ppl coming near window wont see the product is a fake yet still keepin the lighting visible. Gotta play with it but yes I would recommend

The FTV-11 is 3 times brighter than our models FTV-10 and FTV-7. Use it in larger rooms or when FakeTV needs to be further from the window. FakeTV uses super bright LED"s that will last for a long time. If you use your FakeTV every night, the LED"s will last for 20 years.
Easy to Use
Using FakeTV couldn"t be simpler-- plug in the device and set the switch to Dusk + 4 or 7 hours. The FakeTV will turn on at night, every night! No WiFi to setup, no clock to set, no app to download, and no software updates.

Appear home with FakeTV
