> 3 dayI was SO disappointed when I opened the box. We had ordered a carry on piece of luggage and both came in one huge box. I just assumed that the Fake TV would be about the size of a small actual TV. I was stunned when I could hardly find the box in the large box. This is SO small. About 3 x 2 or so. I was really ready to hate it and send it back before even trying it. But, I tried it. And, I am SO glad I did! It works SO well. I was very pleasantly surprised to go outside, look in and see what looked like an actual TV running! Please note, as others have said, the room the Fake TV is in needs to be dark. No lights on. Door shut. I opened my blinds just a bit, tested it several times and it really works! This is SO cool! Get it!

> 3 dayThis is a great and inexpensive deterrent that from outside gives the appearance of a television being on inside the home. When used with light timers and other home security systems the house looks occupied all night.

> 3 dayIt works very well. I have attached a timer to it so it goes on automatically. This is second fake TV for me. The first one still works but its in another room. So I bought another one. Im a happy return customer.

> 3 dayI bought a fake TV to use at a 2nd home when not there. Plug it in and forget about it! My new neighbor thought that we were there all the time! Even though the house is 200 feet from the road, my neighbor saw the TV on every night! I bought my neighbor this new Fake TV as a gift because he wanted to know where he could get one too!!

Greater than one weekI bought one of these to put in a vacant rental property. On the first night I got a call from a nearby older property owner wanting to know when the new renter moved in, who they were, and where they worked. I really struggled with telling them that it was FakeTV. I didnt really want them to know that the house was still empty and would be for another few weeks. That person was so impressed with the illusion of someone being in residence that they asked if I would get them one too. On my next Amazon order, I got them their own FakeTV and showed them how it works. The way I see it, the more homes in the neighborhood look occupied, the less likely the neighborhood is to have a break-in problem. All of the property owners win. By the way, Ive since used this in my home while on vacation. Combine FakeTV with with a couple of small lamps on random timers and it looks like I never left home.
