> 3 dayIt works great. One can see how many cars are coming up and how close they are. It really augments the rear view mirror. One can also tell when the last car has past. I highly recommend it.

> 3 dayIn Canada not all drivers are aware or respectful of cyclists. Worse still, some are agitated by the presence!

12-01-2025radar works well, Varia app cant stay over other apps all the time. Eventually I have to restart the app to make sure that when cars are coming up from behind, the alert will be triggered

> 3 dayAfter several uses, I kept asking myself... Why didnt I get this radar much earlier? Cynics saying a mirror would do the job that the Varia does isnt completely wrong Except Varia does much more than a mirror. Firstly the Audible beeps to warn me of approaching car more than 150meters back, without taking my eyes off the road. Trying spotting a car on a small bicycle mirror that far back while keeping 100% focus on road ahead. Secondly, mirror users are partly replying on sound. The unit picks up another cyclist riding overtaking at higher relative speed to avoid collision or wheel touch.

Greater than one weekDon’t know why I waited so long to buy this. It is simply awesome! I also use a camera on the back of my e-bike so that with this is the ultimate safe riding combo! Very easy to install and all you need to do is download their app and boom it just works. Alerts to every car behind you and their distance. Highly recommend for every cyclist out there!

> 3 dayWorks flawlessly. Replaces rear view mirror for me. Spots all vehicles behind, peace of mind. So far so good after first ride.

> 3 dayEveryone Riding Roads Should Have This! Picks Up Everything Including Faster Cyclists. I’ve Never Had A False Positive. First Few Times I Used Radar, I Thought I Was Getting Some False Positives. Come To Find Out, It Was Cars Turning Onto Another Road. Great Little Device.

> 3 dayWalking my dogs in parks with trails shared by bikes is very hazardous for my dogs, especially since I let them have some freedom with retractable leashes. Most cyclists dont warn you they are approaching until they are almost passing you, with possible harm to the dogs and startling the stuffing out of you.. I mounted mine to a base (a tupperware lid) using the screws already holding the mount to the unit. I put a cord to each side of the lid and wear it around my neck like a large medallion, only facing towards the rear between my shoulder blades. Now with the app on my phone, I get a notification sound if cyclists or even other walkers, joggers or runners are approaching in time to reel in my dogs and make room for them to pass safely without the nasty shock of a last second warning from them.
