> 3 dayTriggers so many false positives, it ends up meaning nothing. Had to return it. Great idea, I wish there were competitors.

> 3 dayFast sync. Works great. Signal light is really good as a day so in the night.

> 3 dayWorks perfectly. I cycle every week mostly in suburbs and this light is outstanding. It gets every car without a beat. I have it connected to the Hammerhead computer and the combo is great.

> 3 dayI did not order this from Amazon but Ive been using it for 2 weeks now. Its life-changing and should be used by every serious cyclist who rides solo (where youre not protected by riding with a group). Physical installation on my D-shaped BMC seatpost was dead easy using on of the supplied adapters. I originally was going to pair it with a Wahoo or Garmin cycling GPS computer, but realized I didnt need to. Instead I paired it with my Garmin fenix5 watch which sits on a handlebar mount. It works great, The varying colored bars that show the number and location of cars coming up from behind are easily visible on each of my cycling screens on the fenix.

> 3 dayGreat product. Hooked up to my Hammerhead Karoo 2. Radar is a game changer and would not ride without it.

> 3 dayDevice works surprisingly well in the city as well, although there is little chance to enhance your safety in the city other than fully protected bike lanes...

> 3 dayLove it. Only a few rides but a game changer. Know about cars behind you before you can hear them. Know how close they are to you and how many with a quick glance if youre on sketchy roads and cant afford a look back. Great additional safety.

> 3 dayI have 1500+ miles with this commuting in the past few months. It is pretty impressive. I wear one headphone and it gives me an audible alert based on the speed of approaching cars. Some false positives from cross traffic and other cyclists but not annoying. It is just nice to not have cars surprising you. I’ve done up to two hours continuous use, haven’t worn out the battery yet. The mount is pretty good although I couldn’t attach it to a cargo rack. Easy attachment to a seat post.

> 3 dayThe Garmin Varia RTL515 is a must-have if you road cycle. The device is like having a copilot yelling “CAR BACK” when traffic approaches from the rear. The device synchs perfectly to my Wahoo Elemnt Bolt GPS. Indications of traffic are reliable...if it indicates traffic, something is back there. I’ve not yet had a false positive, although it occasionally indicates other cyclists behind me...some common sense and awareness is required.

> 3 dayFirst, know that there are other versions of the Varia radars with integrated lights. I had one and sold it on eBay out of frustration. No manufacturer of bike computers EXCEPT Garmin supports ANT+ lights, so if you arent using Garmin, dont bother getting one with a light. Secondly, as you search around the Internet, youll see tons of people frustrated with how Garmin works with the light version of this product. For me, I tried every trick suggested in their forums, but basically couldnt get the light to work unless I unpaired and repaired it tediously before each bike ride. I have a Varia front light, and have no such trouble with it. I did not ding this review over that, because its a different product (the RVR515) but if you are considering both, search the Internet and weigh in other peoples experiences and frustrations into your decision. For an additional data point, I have a Garmin Edge 1030 computer, and I went so far as to wipe it to factory, plus reset the RVR515 several times in an attempt to fix it, and had the problem across two versions of the Garmin software, and one update to the firmware of the RVR515. Just not ready for primetime!
