Worth the price

I had originally balked at the price, but then asked myself how much is my personal safety worth? especially with electric cars becoming more common on the road engine noises are becoming less and less...

I think Garmin undersells this item. It is fantastic. Pairs with my Garmin Edge and my iPhone. It has not missed a single car approaching and shows all the cars in a line. The screen on the iPhone is ver helpful. It evens differentiates between cars and trucks. Easy to set up.

Amazing safety product for road cycling in the dark.

I cant under state the value of this item. Of all the upgrades or add ons a person can do to a bike, this has got to be one of the best things a person can buy. The light alone is fantastic, but its the radar that makes this such an important item to have. Its dangerous enough as it is on the road, but to know what is behind you adds a bit of safety to every ride. For this device, a head unit that is able to connect to the radar is needed. Wahoo has one, but I dont know what model, Garmins x30 models and above are all compatible with this radar. Use this with a mirror to make riding even more safe. If you are thinking about this, I would highly recommend it.

I ride a Cervelo P2C equipped with an Edge 130 Plus on open roads without much traffic. There are sometimes intervals of sixty or ninety seconds before I am passed by a car or truck. The device makes me aware of traffic behind me long before I can hear it, and it has never missed a vehicle. I can see that it could be distracting on busy roads, but for the kind of riding I do I very highly recommend it.

This product works as advertised however it drains battery on my garmin edge 520 in about 5 hours. Since I took it for long cycling events it is of no value for me as a radar. Light is very strong. Will return to Amazon

I live in South Florida and have to ride on well travelled roads (A1A) if i want to get any sort of mileage. I do about 150 Miles per week and i worry that its just a question of time until a driver clips me while texting.
