> 3 dayWorks flawlessly. Replaces rear view mirror for me. Spots all vehicles behind, peace of mind. So far so good after first ride.

> 3 dayI have been riding with this unit for about 6 months. It paired seamlessly with my Wahoo Element. Incredibly accurate and sensitive. I would recommend it for anyone riding streets and roads. Realize that you need a GPS to pair it with.

> 3 dayHaving just finished a weekend of riding with my bicycle radar, i radar to be way more useful on a bicycle than on an airplane! This things detects cars i cant see in my review mirror. By the time i can see the car in my mirror, its already halfway up on the display. Its a game changer for sure. This product has spent plenty of time in the R&D oven. Unlike most other bicycle tech, the Garmin Varia RVR315 worked beautifully and dependably, and it quickly paired to my 4 year old Wahoo Elemnt bike computer with no BS tech hemorrhaging; no software updates, no configuration logins, no required registration, no rebooting or pairing BS, it just worked like tech should.

Greater than one weekDon’t know why I waited so long to buy this. It is simply awesome! I also use a camera on the back of my e-bike so that with this is the ultimate safe riding combo! Very easy to install and all you need to do is download their app and boom it just works. Alerts to every car behind you and their distance. Highly recommend for every cyclist out there!

> 3 dayHave been very surprised at how super useful the radar function is. It works very well and gives you a much better overview of whats going on around you as you dont have to turn your head back nearly as often. Also, even in the very heavy traffic I often ride in, my Garmin shows enough info about the relative distance and speed of approaching cars and motor bikes that I feel a lot better able to gauge the traffic situation around me. Originally I thought I would have it off inside the city - but I always have it on. Also like how you can set it up for daytime/nighttime strength etc. Never ride without. Some people are worried about the rubber bands that keep the unit into place. Made me worry too. however, I ride some VERY rough roads and also flipped my bike once after being swiped by a car :-( -still the Garmin unit is sitting there safe and secure while my water bottles exploded around me. Fortunately theyre a lot cheaper to replace. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayWill never ride without it again. Never knew these existed. I was biking on busy road and thought, why cant bikes have rear Lidar like my car - Googled bike radar and there it is. Cant comment on battery, have only used for 2 hours max so far, and not sure how to see remaining battery level. I use paired with iphone running the free version of Ride with GPS. Iphone mounted to handlebars, app set to always on, it shows a Green bar running along the left side of the phone, when car approaches bar turns yellow and alert sounds, till car is past and all clear signal sounds. Ive seen complaints the alerts are too loud, but Im using bone cunduction headphones, and seems OK to me. Feel so much more confident riding - Can take more of the road when nothing is behind, and it gives plenty of warning to move to the shoulder as cars approach.

> 3 dayExcelente compra, si bien no te libra de un accidente pero si te hace más consiente del entorno, este radar te permite identificar cuando un vehículo viene aprox a 700mts y da tiempo suficiente para reaccionar. Me ha servido mucho y me siento más seguro al rodar en bicicleta.

Greater than one weekThe second-gen Varia radar is very good, works great. Connects to Edge head units and Wahoo computers easily... radar is very convenient if youre looking for that. The only issue I have is that the supplied mount is enormously inferior to the previous Varia mount in every possible way. I understand this was probably done to support a wider array of seat post shapes, but the original mount from the earlier Varia products was basically perfect, low-profile and unobtrusive. Forcing us to step backwards to rubber straps is such a weird design choice.
