GENIE G3T-R 3-Button Remote with Intellicode Security Technology Controls Up To 3 Garage Door Openers, 1 Pack, Original Version

These took less than 5 minutes to sink with my Genie Intellicode garage door opener. My house was built in 86 but don’t know how old the opener is. But this worked with it when a different one didn’t. Only the bottom button works to open it. I’m still not sure if the other buttons are for more than one garage door or for “up and down” if it’s the latter they didn’t work for me for that function.

Wanted to replace my clicker programmable that I kept having to reprogram whenever I would add a new remote or change something. This one just works with my Genie openers consistently.

I loved it. The setup with the genie garage opener was like 10 seconds (Press program button, then press the desired button to program twice - done). I like to open my garage door from far away, this thing impressed me with the long range. Recommend 5/5 if you have a genie garage opener, not sure about other brands, tho...

I know this is going to seem way out there but everytime my roommate uses her remote control my TV switches on to Mexican News and my fillings start to vibrate. I dont know what kind of battery theyre using. Strong remote control.

A simple remote that works well at a surprising long range. Syncing this product was a breeze, The next issue could be as bonus to some people and a headache to others. Its range is superior. This is great for those who have a large distance between garage and their home. For me having a unattached garage, and a small yard. If I throw my keys with this attached to the chain hard enough my garage door will go up. So yes it is an user error but just take note. This product works as advertised and has a solid build quality too.

Easy to program and a great price.

Works great with my Overhead Legacy 800 garage door opener. Many of the reviews have complained about the range, but so far the range of the Genie G3T-R opener has been great. Ive tried if from over 75 feet away from my garage and it has worked flawlessly. Also, the G3T-R is very easy to program - Just push the LEARN button on the Overhead Legacy 800 unit (Light flashes on the unit) then press the button on the remote that you want to program 2 times to complete the programming - Push the button a 3rd time to engage the door opener - Thats it !!!

Wasn’t so easy to install, but once I figured it out the second wasn’t so bad. Really only took me 20 ish minutes to set up. I love that it small & can be put onto my keys if I wanted.

Was worried that my 1995-era old genie garage door opener setup was not going to work with this new remote. I was wrong to worry. These paired with my garage door within minutes and I was done in less than 5 minutes with both remotes. Super simple and works as advertised. Dont hesitate to buy or waste time or money buying something more expensive. Worked 100% on my 20+ year old system.
