My wife lost her garage door remote. This was an exact replacement and fairly easy to program.

Worked right out of the package, very easy to program. Much better range than the old keyring version I had been using:

GENIE G3T-R 3-Button Remote. Range is very good. Buttons are the issue. Very, very light touch to activate. No click or tactile feedback that button has been pressed. If you carry your remote on a key chain or on your FOB ring, you will be triggering the remote when putting it into your pocket or purse. If the buttons were recessed or needed more pressure to activate this would not be a problem. I will be shopping for an alternate remote and discarding this one.

Love this remote. very small and compact. you can attached it on your car sunvisor. Also, its so small that it can fit in your pocket comfortably and you dont ever have to bring your bulky house keys ever again.

Love this remote! So much smaller then the old style I have and works further then the old ones did.

We had lost our remote for our Chamberlain Garage Door Opener, so I had purchased a Chamberlain remote. It took a long time to connect it to the unit, and finally I had to call technical service. With the Genie, pairing and connecting was a breeze. It may be because the units are made by the same manufacturer. Very compact and good range, Highly recommended.

Easy to install

I lost my garage remote when I went on vacation. I bought this hoping for an easy installation, and it was! I didnt even have to reset my backup.

I called my local HIGHLY reputable garage door company and asked about this product. The young lady who answered the phone said they sell them for $39.95, which is the suggested retail by Genie, and a fair price in my opinion. I asked how hard they were to set up and she told me quite easy. So I asked if what they were selling was the same as what I saw on Amazon for less than half the price, she looked it up on her computer and said yes thats the same exact model we sell and and advised me that I should purchase it from this vendor instead of them. I did and it was shipped quickly and setup was as easy as reading the instructions. A perfect transaction and I was able to use the same setup process for my wifes car, which has buttons built in for opening garage doors and such but no clear instructions in the manual with regards to how to set it up. I would highly recommend this item to anybody who needs a replacement opener and need a Genie with rolling codes.
